I not only bought it, I even liked a few of the characters (such as Masada).

I wished Rob great, great success at Image, because I *never* wanted him to come back to Marvel and get his darned hands on my beloved New Mutants again!

These days, I wish Quesada had been more successful at Image as well, and never come back to Marvel.

Yes, yes, yes!!! This thread is the type of thread I daydream at work about! I shall post a ridiculously detailed review once I get issue #1! I know I could probably find #2-3 somewhere in the collection if I really tried.

Rob sure seems likable though. He used to fall asleep during Image Board meetings. You just can't make that up.

The funny thing is, Rob actually is a really nice guy to talk to. Met him a few times at cons. Very friendly and energetic. You can tell he actually really loves comics. The sad thing is he produces mostly garbage.

My shop had none. I did get teh Chew and Walking Dead issues...plus saw that they had the Spawn, but alas...no Youngblood.

Did they come out this week?

I went last week and the comic shop near my work had none. I'm worried that because these are $1.00, the shops won't order that many because it won't turn them enough profit.

I really want to get Chew and a few others, including Youngblood!

Like I said, I have Chew, TWD and saw Spawn...but no Youngblood. That may however be because the guy is still probably sitting on a few copies of the original he cannot move.

The original must go for almost the same price, I'd think. I think it sold almost a million copies. It basically made Liefield a millionaire over night.
