You know... if nothing else, the solicitations for Shooter's upcoming issues are the coolest they've been in ages!

Anybody remember when we had like 5 WaK solicits in a row that read basically the same thing and were completely generic and uninformative? This is completely the opposite!

On Just based on the covers and solicit text I didn't feel either title fit. Although Booster's series could be argued to always be of AR concern. I, too, expected something Legiony out of Final Crisis but that text, to me, is confusing. Were it a regular book I wouldn't even touch it.

Superman's solicitation text mentions the Science Police. I don't know enough to say for sure that that means 31st century involvement.
"James Robinson (Starman, The Golden Age) arrives as the new ongoing writer of SUPERMAN as changes abound in the life of the Man of Steel! A frighteningly powerful new presence declares Metropolis his, a monster strikes the harbor of the City of Tomorrow, Green Lantern guest-stars for a unique game of fetch, and the Science Police arrive on the scene. And this is only issue one of the new run!"

The Science Police are a new division in the Metropolis force introduced in 52 (forget which issue). So, predecessor to our Legion's possibly but not the same. Again, along the lines of Booster, possible AR connection.

The covers, the splash texts and the story - sounds very much old school for the Shooter Legion, which I like. Who are "Ikilles and Cazhmir! The Ikonns! The Peril Men" ??? I don't know, but they sure sound more interesting than "Tangleweb" and the "Work Force"... or even Terror Firma . Though the "Peril Men" don't seem to have much on the latter...

I am hoping the return of Brainy also brings the return of Dreamer to a body and not as a dream.
Wonder what the Legion's greatest secret is? How to make flight rings? LOL

Brainiac 5 selling out? Nah, don't believe it, it'll all be a cunning plan mark my words!
Love the name 'The Peril Men' - will they be adventure seekers or villains?

Because THAT would rock but then I live in an area dominated by the Big Ten, a league with eleven teams so who am I do judge what's good.

Good Lord! When will they come up with a decent look for Chameleon Boy? Was there really anything wrong with the classic version?!!
This cover is okay -- seems a bit scratchy. I liked the one previewed last month much better.

The Ikonns and the Peril Men are obvious jokes about Carl Icahn and Ron Perelman, two billionaires/corporate raiders who interfered with Shooter's attempt to buy Marvel in the early 90's, and largely drove Marvel into bankruptcy.

Could L.B.O. Firms and Junk Bond Kings be responsible for Jeckie's predicament? Judging from the issue out this week this appears to be true. I bet you Timber Wolf takes 'em and flosses his teeth with their veins. Then Jeckie throws the best wedding that OPM (Other People's Money) can buy.
