I worked at Extreme Studios when Rob did this "fine" piece of work. The original was colored by Drew Posada. Drew is a fine artist and he "fixed" the drawing as best he could in Photoshop, but, it still was pretty wacked. Believe me it was worse. Much worse!
All of us in the color dept. looked at it in wide wonder. What was our fearless leader and his fine crew of editors smokin' when he penciled that one.
Really Rob had been slacking and hadn't penciled anything for about a year when he tackled that comic. I think he thought he could pull a rabbit out of his arse while flying upsidedown over Disneyland
I love this new rendition! Even the placement of Rob's head is in the right posisition.

I think one of the greatest mysteries of the entire comics history is how Rob Liefeld became such a big name in comics. His stuff is some of the worst I've EVER seen. The man himself is kind of cute (almost Mark Wahlberg-ish) but his art has always been horrendous. Originally posted by MLLASH:

That's ridiculous... there's no reason his chest and arm should be bigger than Luke Cage's. :rolleyes:

In 1993, Rob Liefeld's career was almost ended prematurely due to a car accident. His severe injuries resulted in the amputation of both of his hands. Thankfully this had little effect on his drawing ability and has continued to produce comics on a regular basis. It turns out that the secret of Rob's artistic ability is that he has drawn with his left foot since 1989.
