Whoa, Matt Kindt--the total genius behind the Vertigo OGN 'Revolver'--is doing the Robotman story in My Greatest Adventure? That's actually enough to get me to try the anthology title. He's really that good.

As nice as it is to see Cyborg get more of a spotlight with Flashpoint and JL, he totally has the Martian Manhunter spot. (to be cynical, let's call it the "catchall minority spot") And he's the only one of the main team that doesn't have his own book...

While I'm glad they're actually engaging in an ad campaign, it's not really appealing to me. If they were to get into a regular habit of advertising, and not just using it for Big Events, they might actually have a shot at getting more regular readers. Of course, repackaging and repricing this stuff so it doesn't cost an arm and a leg would also help.
