This is a quote from a post of mine in the 'Green Lantern' thread posted on 3/5/07 - I'm loving the current storyline in GL! Daniel Acuna's art and coloring are phenomenal and it's great seeing one of my favorite 'super-hero girlfriends', Carol Ferris, back - along with the uber-sexy and cool Star Sapphire! And to top it all off - another Chaselon appearance! Yes! He rocks! I just hope they're not showcasing him a little bit so people will know who he is and then Geoff can kill him off in the Sinestro Corps War. That is SO his M.O. Geoff Johns is so damn predictable! And it annoys me that with Chaselon now gone nearly every single pre-Crisis Lantern is dead! (Seriously, is anyone other than Sallak, Mogo, Hal, John and the recently resurrected Arisia left?) Not to mention the fact that his death means yet another interesting-visual Lantern is gone - while all those boring humanoid Lanterns that were invented in the Green Lantern Corps Quarterly book are still around, and more like them keep getting invented (eg. that boring Rannian and Korugarian in GLC). I'm SO OVER humanoid Lanterns! [/rant finished]

So much so that even while I was dumping titles from my pull list left right and centre, I managed to add Green Lantern. My friend at the CBS and some of his friends met Geoff at an Australian con and somehow managed to become invested as various Sinestro Corps members - Bedovian was one of their surnames, the virus guy was another, and I think one more but I can't remember which. You should have seen their pride when they saw the promo shots for the Sinestro Corps in Wizard and then this issue when it came out! Colour me jealous. (Is there a Corps for that?) Wayne@OZ
