...damnit DC, you know what buttons to press! I haven't felt this conflicted since I went to Conflict Con 2010.
I'll say this, the I Vampire revamp (redundant word play, I get it) screams "Twilight".
Here's what has me interested...
Animal Man: I'm more curious in regards to Maxine. Batgirl: If Gail Simone can make Babs as important and relevant as Batgirl as she was as Oracle... Batwing: I'd be more enthusiastic, but Judd Winnick... Batwoman: I was already planning on getting this. Demon Knights: The cover art is gorgeous. Flash: Francis Manapul writing AND illustrating. That takes balls. I'm in. Resurrection Man: And it's by the guys who created him and wrote the original YES! Red Hood and the Outlaws: Only for Roy's sake. But this all depends on what Scott Lobdell says. Teen Titans: They're getting rid of the guy who wrote Rise of Arsenal and replacing him with the guy who wrote Generation X. Huh. Voodoo: I am curious as to how they are retooling a Wildstorm character and if they will either A: put her in the DCU or B: It's still in the Wildstorm universe.
And anything Nei Ruffino colors.

So I'm already prepping myself to remain civil if "Watchmen #1" is announced. My initial comment would be: "anyone who buys a relaunched Watchmen comic is an asshole", but I realize that might not be in good form.
It's only comics...(he said unconvincingly to himself)...

It's only comics...(he said unconvincingly to himself)... I just tell myself that Watchmen was itself a take-off of some other company's heroes and then it stings less.

So by my count DC has confirmed 39 titles so far.
The following are unconfirmed / unnanounced by DC, but ones we "know about" or have been rumored:
Superman Action Comics Superboy Supergirl Adventure - been rumored My Greatest Adventure - was part of initial wave of rumors but nothing since. OMAC - we've seen preview art and the creative team (Giff & Didio) but no official announcement Grifter - very likely considering writer's name is being banded around (the awesome writer from Who is Jake Ellis?)

So I wonder, what's the fate of some of the current ongoings? Booster Gold, Zatanna, Power Girl, the awesome Xombi and of course, Secret Six. No announcements at all about JSA yet, which you'd expect would continue but can't be too sure about. Also, Jonah Hex better continue unabated! If we lose Hex, then this whole thing sucks. IMO, now would be the perfect time to relaunch Brave & Bold without JMS. Supposedly the 52 does not include licensed material like the Spirit and Thunder Agents but I'm curious if any of those will continue.

They're rebooting Hawkman again, along with various others. So far, Bat- and GL- books appear to be continuing with minor adjustments at most, while Super- and Wonder- stuff is being rebooted from scratch again, as are some books affected by this (Teen Titans) and various miscellaneous titles like Firestorm and JLI. So where does that leave JSA? Are they finally going to decouple it from WW2, and leave it as simply "the previous generation and their heirs"?

Or the opposite, with the JSA in WWII and not existing anymore in the present with some notable exceptions.
I can easliy see DC screwing over Infinity, Inc. again and making all the sons & daughters of the Golden Agers baby boomers born in the 50's and 60's and a solid generation+ older than Superman / Batman / etc.

Batman Beyond also appears to be one of them. Surprised it wasn't announced with the other Bat-titles. Would they rope it into another 'group' of comics? Or will the last bunch of announcements be "everything else". The best announcement ever for me would be a Tomahawk series by Darwyn Cooke or Ryan Sook. But I'd settle for a Kamandi series by Sook too. You know, if there doing an 'other time period' grouping.

I feel like Darwyn Cooke will be doing something for DC. There have been hints for about a year. It's been stated that it's NOT a New Frontier sequel, so I'm wondering if it'll be one of the final announcements. Darwyn taking two years off between Parker adaptations certainly fuels the speculation.
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

No, no PLEASE help when you can Cobiekins, I need it, there's so much going on every day it's kriz-azy!! And thank you!!
SO I think I am going to get a fairly large amount of these titles, but I have decided to have a strict "1, 2, 3" policy...
Books that don't grab me right away are gone in 1 issue... books that I am kinda borderline about will have 2 issues to grab me. No more. If I am still borderline after 2, it's gone.
Books that keep me grabbed for 3 straight issues remain on the all-new Sept. Pull list.
1, 2, 3 DC... don't eff it up!

Of course, they can always come up with some reason for the Infinitors and other second-generation characters to remain youthful--after all, they did it with their parents! Of the six Golden-Age offspring who have been most active in the DCU in the last few years, all seem to have some plausible (by comic book standards) explanation for slowed aging: Black Canary (The magic spell that gave her her powers) Hourman (Miraclo) Jade (Starheart) Jesse Quick (Speed Force) Obsidian (Starheart) Zatanna (Magic)
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

They could probably insert a generation (or two) in-between the JSA and the Infinitors if they wanted to. I'm not sure it makes that much difference for them to be the children rather than the grandchildren of the JSA.

I bet that's going to be the remaining grouping (aside from the Superman books). So tomorrow they might announce a JSA book set during WWII, Weird War Tales, OMAC, Jonah Hex and possibly a couple of surprises.

As the reality of this sinks in...I am optimistic about several of these titles. Including some that I never thought I'd buy again.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

More offical announcements:
Stormwatch (Blending Martian Manhunter with the pre-Authority Wildstorm team) Blackhawk (modern day) Sgt. Rock (also modern day) All-Star Western Deathstroke Grifter OMAC
That puts us at 46 titles with the Super books left to come. Things don't look good for the JSA.

I was really excited when I heard the news but have to say I'm realy dissapointed that both Blackhawk and SGT Rock are set in the present day, not war comics, and involve mercenary type characters in the DCU. That's the worst possible set-up for either franchise IMO. I wouldn't even object to the present day if either still maintained a bit more of the original franchise.
So it appears All-Star Western is a continuation of Jonah Hex? With Graypal on that's an instant buy for me. It's a shame they have to restart the numbering for the title, though. Pluses are (A) the back-ups and (B) Moritat on art, since he's been rocking my face off on the Spirit.
Grifter is a character I've never cared about before, but the creative team is MONEY. Nathan Edmondson is punch-your-own-face awesome on Who is Jake Ellis? and CAFU is smack-your-neighbor cool on Thunder Agents.
As for OMAC: can't you just see Didio realizing that Johns and Lee will get all kinds of crazy royalties off these relaunches and realizes he should use his power to make sure he gets a little extra piece of the pie too?

Expected to be coming shortly: (47) Superman (48) Action Comics (49) Superboy (50) Supergirl (51) Adventure (52) Batman Beyond – basically confirmed already.
Mentioned in Rumors My Greatest Adventure - was part of initial wave of rumors but nothing since. Justice League Beyond – Rich seems to think this is likely Superman Beyond – Rich also seems to think this is likely Watchmen – this is entirely unsubstantiated, just heresy thus far.
Current Ongoings with no word at all Justice Society of America Booster Gold Zatanna Power Girl Secret Six Xombi
Also Noteworthy Batman, Inc. to be relaunched in 2012 Initial reports mentioned the 52 did not include licensed series like the Spirit and Thunder Agents but no confirmation on that.
So there we are. Unless Adventure Comics is not being relaunched, or Batman Beyond is happening somewhere down the road (since I would have thought it would be announced with the Bat titles or with this latest grouping), then no room for JSA. But don’t panic yet anyone, there is still a day of news to come.

Just throwing it out there, but JSA had a slot in Adventure once upon a time.
But, I honestly think they're going to ship the JSA back to Earth 2 and re-introduce them later. There's been enough on the previews so far that show a "De-coupling" from their Legacies, that this seems the most likely route.

It occurs to me that the Cooke Vigilante story is likely a back-up in All-Star Western.
And J'onn in Stormwatch all but confirms that Wildstorm is now blended into DC. I think it's unlikely at this point that any series takes place on another Earth.

I suspect from now on, if it hasn't already gotten to that point, #1 will have completely lost its cache.
