I think I'm back to square one regarding the ID of Supernova. Right now I have the felling that this is Booster or that other Carter boy we saw early on.

Actually, thinking about everything that's going on in the DCU after 52, the other Carter Kid makes the most sense to me. It sort of fits with the "Legacy" theme going on in JSA and would also explain that panel in JLA (or was it in an early 52?) when Supes, Bats & Wondy are discussing whether to give someone Booster's uniform or not.

Newsarama's weekly chat about 52 has a few preview pages of next week's issue. While they don't outright ID Supernova, there's a very strong hint.
Just spouting off.

I think they're pulling our collective legs with that preview. I suspect the editor spoke the truth during the 5.2 interview. We won't know Supernova's identity for sure until week 52.

I agree.
Supernova has been snagging various devices to power himself and whatever they're working on from the start. That could just be another one.

Sure looks like a nuclear power signature in that preview. On the other hand Booster Gold's entire origin is that he's a stealer of technology that can provide powers.

Oh, I'm sure that's what it is.
I just don't think it proves anything one way or the other.
I was also under the impression DC told us that Supernova was someone we had already seen in 52.

Sooooo, what was the big deal about Lady Styx?? I'm sure she's terrifying and everything, but the confrontation here was extremely anti-climactic. Nothing here impressed me about her. It just makes me think if there was some cross polination with Marvel and their "Annihilation" mini.
Extremely happy with the way the Montoya story is headed. My fingers remain crossed for a positive outcome and for the success of her mission (and how can it not, right? It seems like she'd have to succeed for any of her struggle to make sense).

My problem with it being a Carter is Supernova's dialogue. During the rain of supermen, he responded to a reporter's idiot suggestion with "Don't be absurd." His comments to Cassie when she suggested he was Conner were courteous. It sounds a little too intellectual to be Booster or his ancestor (what little we know of him.)

Check out this Newsarama thread for some discussion over this week's DC Nation column. I post this here because it's primarily related to 52 but it has major implications for the Legion and everything else. It's a little spoilerlicious but, after all, it appears in a DC publication so you could argue that the cat's out of the bag already.

Great issue! And I eagerly await someone to tell me who everyone was that we saw "inside" Skeets. One in particular confused me.

Hm. Not one, but TWO "resurrections" in one issue! I hope this doesn't mean Vic's the one who's going to bite it after all.
What's up with the major spoiler on the cover? Did they assume everyone had it figured out already?

They haven't been releasing more than one cover with the solicits lately. Plus they may have been counting on people (like myself) thinking it was the "other one" and not the original.

Here is the secret to the DC Nation Code <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text"> This column often hints at many essential facts, but
some secrets are ever important to conceal in our retention of the element of surprise. Therefore, above all
objections, our one foremost thought is
finally recognized and imaginatively coming to fruition. Right here this stands before you, the heart
thumping meaning to what waits at our awe-inspired ending
is about to see light. So
that there is hardly any confusion, a code was transcribed, one easily
translated as a harbinger of facts essential to those
multitudes who have unilaterally followed the lives of our tenacious heroes from introduction to their various adventures and efforts. We have rallied around these said heroes, whose existence is the
stuff of legend. This column's prime information is to let anyone who loves 52 have
essential information to x-ecute a very informed opinion to select simply all the clues for summation. </span></span>
So what will this mean to legion?
I guess it explains: <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">the JSA and maybe supergirl having 2 personalities.</span></span>

Very exciting week!
Okay, the Secret to fifty-two...I'm assuming it means that this secret is the key to figuring out what's going on. Are we actually seeing a couple of stories happening in different 'verses? My fanboy instincts are working overtime.
What fun!

What fun! I think you are right. 2 issues ago before the Suicide Squad attacked the Marvel family the date and time changed. instead of time being broken, what we probably saw was the same event happening on different worlds at slightly different times. and don't forget about ealier in the series when evil Skeets was giving historical information that was a little off. skeet's memory must have been from another earth.

You know, something's been bothering me. During Infinite Crisis, didn't Booster "zap" out only to be replaced by himself and Skeets? What's up with that? Am I remembering correctly?

Just finished this week's issue, Week 38. I don't like the direction they're taking with Natasha. Of course, hopefully someone will come in and rescue her if she can't do it alone.
Spent a lot of time on "the Questions" this week. I love both of them so I hope Charlie makes it out alive. Even if he's stuck in Nanda Parbat forever as an advisor or some such.
The Horsemen look pretty intense. Of course, I liken this to Marvel's villains which I don't think is the best. However, with them gunning for Black Adam, I'm concerned about Osiris and Isis. We've gotta be able to keep them.
Okay, this book is totally engrossing. I have no idea what will happen with anyone and it's got me hooked. Long live the fifty two!

This was just sent to Go! Figure by DC Comics with the subject: "Let the battle cry be heard in the land, a shout of great destruction" and no other text what so ever:

Wow. Very confusing. This must be one of the multiple Earths we're actually seeing in 52. Darnit! Charlie/Vic is a goner. I'd love to know more about all this.
