even I used to read XMen long time ago.....but I am curious....can anyone volunteer to compile the list of the deceased XMen members and its' associates? I kept hearing that some members such as Morph, Mimic, Skin, Magik, even Colossus!!, died...so I lost track of who's who's deceased. So anyone? please?

oh well they weren't that great anyway, but still the writer could try something outrageous (for the Xbooks) and give them a personality... that would be shocking!!!

Way back when X-Force was started, sometime during the first 12 issues, I believe that Cable tried to convince Sam he was really one of the Externals, who are supposed to be immortal. I don't know if it was ever expanded on or just forgotten about.

I doubt we'll ever find out any more about the Externals. Rumour has it that the creators of Highlander had a problem with the similarities. The last I heard, Husk was dating Angel.  And Drake, I believe Synch was killed off by Warren Ellis off panel in Generation X.

Yeah, I guess Jean and Logan are dead. Not that Wolverine being Marvel's big gun could mean he couldn't die  . Oh, and Amanda Sefton is the new Magik now I think. Right? I'm pretty sure that's what that whole crappy mini-series was about. So there's one not dead. I guess Senator Kelly, Moira and Collosus in a matter of five issues was enough for Marvel.

If Jean is becoming Phoenix again, I hope that they refrain from making another "Dark Phoenix Saga." They've been there and done that already. Either enable her to control the Phoenix Force or have her give it up. Frankly there are too many crazy people in the X-Universe already without Jean being corrupted with power again.

Morrison said in an interview that he wasn't going to kill off Jean, Scott or Prof. X, but I'm curious to see if he was just faking out the fans. I thought for sure that Jean or Charlie weren't gonna make it, but now I'm not so sure.
Sigh, I just hope the next X-writer can pick a better line-up than this one. How about all those characters we fell in love with over the years, instead of the basic Logan/Jean/Scott combo?
