MANY missing characters can be found at DC FIFTY-TOO http://dcfifty-too.blogspot.com/ Here you will find mock covers for titles that could and possibly should have been in the DC 52 had these independent creators had their druthers! LSH fans in particular don't want to miss the LOIS LANE cover! And how hella-groovy would THIS have been, by Bill Walko posted to the Great Frog Groovy Teen Titans Facebook page:

New status for Beast Boy/Changeling, Raven, Garth/Tempest and Plastic Man.
The list of 85 characters now has 18 names which have popped up one way or another in the new DCU. 25 more have the potential to show up in the still-unannounced JSA title, or have been rumored to appear somewhere else.
That leaves 42 completely unaddressed. Unless I missed them (very likely).
Did you see any of these characters mentioned or actually appear in one of the '52' or one of the new miniseries? Read an interview or credible source that hinted at a character's 'return'?

That means "Stupid" in Filipino. Interesting choice of name.

(I hope they are not trying to get rid of the future aspect of Booster.) Maybe he'll be a Canadian from the future?

have you seen the last page of OMAC #2? this came as quite a shock to me...did not expect that of all the books, *that person* showed up on the last page...!!! The person I am speaking of is undergoing a big change....is he a part of the Fourth World or what? I don t know! it looks a homage to Jack Kirby...

Several Justice Leaguers seem to be missing too. Anyone heard from Metamorpho, Doctor Light, Tazmanian Devil, Red Tornado, Steel (John Henry Irons), Captain Atom?

Tasmanian Devil *may* appear in JLI (that s I hope, alongside Dr Light ).

Think you're getting optimistic with all those red "in Earth 2 JSA"s - if Alan Scott doesn't even have his ring as of E2 #1, how could he possibly have two superpowered kids, for instance? It seems like an either/or - E2-Hawkgirl has been announced as Kendra rather than Sheira, but any WW2 JSAers descendents won't be around if they themselves are (albeit in rebooted form).
Also, Shade is apparently not considered a DCnU book any more, but is off on an "Earth-Shade".
And there was some vacillating about this in the first few months, but the current Teen Titans is now apparently intended as the very first DCnU Titans team (the originally-announced plan was for Cyborg to go off and join the Wolfman/PĂ©rez Titans at the end of JL #6 and be back with the JL in the present-day of JL #7, but that was dropped. Also flashback cameos of Wally & Donna that Lobdell promised for TT #2 were nixed), so any pronouncements to the contrary/existence of Tempest/etc should be taken with salt. And Spoiler... well, the Batman, Inc. one-shot (originally intended as two issues of the pre-DCnU title and repackaged because the title was running so late) was published without any DCnU alterations at all, meaning Tim appeared in a costume he's apparently never worn in the DCnU, so Steph's status is still fuzzy on whether she was Batgirl/has even existed. [There's some similar "fuzziness" with a few details of the first Batwoman arc, which was written and partially drawn before they found out about the reboot and also wasn't altered to account for it].
Steel (John Henry Irons) appeared in the first arc of Action Comics, but has yet to appear [or even be mentioned!] in the present day - so while he exists, whether he's "currently" around, inactive or dead is unclear.

It's good to see them bring in Barry Allen's job more into the title. But I did get the first several issues and drifted away from it. I don't think the return of a character they wrote out to make their relaunch, is going to bring me back in.
