Could be. I'm thinking more of Supergirl's role, as Quark and Pariah both made appearances last week.

What's interesting to note that while Huntress could not see what was going on, she could feel the effects of their attacks. Being that she was originally an Earth-2 hero, it doesn't really surprise me, nor did the fact that Karen felt drawn to her.

I will say that this series is exceptionally well done and I would love to see an ongoing with Amanda Conner at the pencils. She's managed to convey so much more about Karen's personality than has been done in a LONG time. Plus, her women LOOK like women...

Hmm. I'm not really sure what to think atm. But I really wanna know what happens next, which is a good sign because I never really cared about Power Girl as a character before JSA. Actually, I can say that about a lot of characters on the team... huh...

Anyway, I'm very curious about what's gonna happen next. I must admit that I don't remember/know that much about Psycho Pirate but he seems like a cool guy for a loony toon. Definitely ready for the truth to be revealed, though. Like... now...

Psycho Pirate was a major player in the original Crisis Cali...I suggest you try and get your hands on a copy before the new Crisis hits

JSAC # 3 continued DC's winning streak.

I LOVE AMANDA CONNOR.

It was utter fanboy joy to see Huntress and Power Girl together.

I only read the cover to JSAC #3 today... okay, I might have peeked really quickly... wink I -loved- the girls' word balloons on the cover, though! heh! lol Can't wait to get my end-of-month shipment from DCBS...

But I -did- get Kara's first appearance, in All-Star Comics #58, today, among other things... Wonderland was running an anniversary sale with 50% off their back stock, as well as action figures and hardcovers. Thank Gary for my graemlin... PovertyLad wink

Okay, but what does Luma Lynai have to do with Captain Marvel? Wasn't she one of the super-women Supergirl tried to fix up Superman with?

it has something to do with Supergirl being created by former 'Captain Marvel' writer Otto Binder.

I just found out who Power Girl is. Want to know? Visit Newsarama , scroll down to the previous preview version of IC #2's cover and click on it. It will reveal the real cover for #2 and her true identity.

Yes the four of them have been watching the heroes generally mess up from where they've been. The big guy narrates IC 1 and is kinda pissed that the heroes have squandered what they sacrificed to give them. The young guy vacilates and whines a bit then *SPOILER FOR IC 1 FOLLOWS* [color:000080] Alex tells Superman that he can still save her. I think he means Power Girl. He punches through the barrier in reality and pronounces that. This is a job for Superman.

Oh and the younger guy is Superboy of Earth Prime. Phil Jimenez' drawings of him and Lois are much better. Can't wait to see Perez' cover.[/color]

I think we are being lead to think that this is her identity and that she's not. I think that the lines about PG's mother in JSA were not throwaways.

Question: Did the Earth-2 Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor marry?

Another question: Do you suppose Power Girl and Hector Hall knew each other before?

The answers might contain spoilers - so i will not answer them here... tease laugh

Don't know about the second question, but, yes, Earth 2 Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor did get married. What's more, they weren't exactly written out of exsistance at the end of Crisis on Infinite Earths. They were last seen living with the Greek Gods in COIE #12, IIRC.

Surely she's not Fury.

Fury's with Dr. Fate (Hector Hall) someplace where the Spectre banished them to. Hopefully they'll be okay but to me Lyta is number one on the list of confusing characters to be offed in Infinite Crisis.

As for PG and Hector, they were both Infinitors. Also, PG would have known his parents, Hawkman and Hawkgirl, for some time before Hector debuted as Silver Scarab.

I always thought that Lyta's retconned origin worked pretty well. But then, I thought putting Miss America in the JSA was a good idea.

Hmm...weren't reading Infinity, Inc. back in the day, eh? Fury - Lyta Trevor - is the daughter of Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor. Or she was until CoIE. Power Girl was also a member of Infinity, Inc. along with Hector and Lyta.

I thought Lyta's new origin worked pretty well, too. What ever happened to her mother, the "original" Fury?

Not exactly a stellar ending for Helena. I liked her in Young All-Stars but I don't think the idea that she's crazy and immortal is all that great. If we could get Diana and Steve back as her parents, I'd be thrilled. Then she could have a link to the Amazons again, even if they're not exactly "her" Amazons.

If you recall, Lyta still remembered her original parents post-Crisis. Brainwave had to actually remove those memories. It's almost like her past didn't actually change but people thought it did. IOW, Lyta has memories that say she's the daughter of Fury and adopted daughter of Miss America, but does reality support it?
