Just a reminder that everyone's favorite holiday is coming up this weekend!!!

See what's available here:

http://www.freecomicbookday.com/

If I was able to pick stuff up I'd want Ultimo, Avengers, Atomic Robo, DC Kids Mega Sampler, Tranformers/GI Joe, Wolverine, and Alien vs Predator. As usual I'll have to miss yet another one due to no comic store here. Oh well, I hope everyone else picks up something they like!

I usually try to grab everything I can, it's free comicbook day and I want to see what's out there.

I already have my copy of Blackest Night #0 smile
Would like to snag the GIJoe/Transformers because I love GI Joe

Really recommend the Owly comic for EVERYBODY! It's just soooo cute and really well done (good story with no words, check it out).

Sad there are no Disney books as I would always pick up one for my dad.

Want the Star Wars and DC Kids samplar as well, but again, everything else will be just to give it a shot.

I get my comics online, but DCBS always throws FCBD stuff in the next shipment. Usually cr@p I wouldn't pick up on my own, but this year I'm hoping for the Blackest Night #0 ish and Red5's latest Robo freebie. :wish: :wish:

Just got back!

I was slightly disappointed that the one book I was looking forward to snagging and trying wasn't there ("FCHS").

There were a couple other ones I was slightly less disappointed to see not available.

I did, however, get the following:

THE AVENGERS (Cheung artwork!)

ARCHIE "The Mighty Archie Art Players"

BLACKEST NIGHT # 0

WIZARD HOT LISTS

BONGO COMICS FREE FOR ALL

LOVE AND CAPES # 10

SAVAGE DRAGON # 148

DC KIDS MEGA SAMPLER

JOHN STANLEY'S NANCY/MELVIN the MONSTER flip book

As susal, I'll read through 'em, keep what I want and place the rest in the waiting room at work.

You're lucky!!! I went to three different stores and all have ran out of those free comics books by 1 pm. I was so disappointed.

frown

I was hoping to get DC Kids, Blackest Nights, Wiz Hot Lists...but all of them are gone.

Hope somebody have an extra of those, then I will be very happy to pay for postage and shipping fee. PM me!

I went to five stores ... I realize that sounds a little mental, but my friend and I were trying to get stuff for our students ... we got a lot of clone wars ... it was like trick or treating ... after each store, we'd be like "ooh, what did you get?"

I got a dozen books between two stores.

What there was another Atomic Robo? Ida gotten that.

I'm most interested in the anniversary reprint of the original TMNT, which strangely I've never read.

My store had a one comic limit (bummer) but my guy let me pick up a few extras, but I kept the number down. They didn't have Owly (sad) but I did get Blackest Night, DC Kids Sampler, Resurrection and Buck Rogers #0 (they included that in the free stuff).

Enjoyable, not sold on Resurrection, cool premise but the free issue didn't sell me on the execution, the pacing seemed slow and not really engaging. So I'm not planning to pick this up when it comes out, maybe if I hear good stuff I'll get it later down the road.

Buck Rogers was interesting, amoeba people were cool, but not feeling the costumes. Still, if it comes out on a slow week (and isn't too expensive) i might try it out.

DC Kids Sampler was cute!

Blackest Night was awesome, can't wait for July.

The two stores I went to had a two comic limit, although my regular store let me take an extra. Plus I bet if they have any left over, I can grab them this Wednesday.

I did get The Avenger, Blackest Night, DC Kids mega sampler, Bongo, & Owly.

Superboymddjr, If my regular comic book shop has any left over, I'll pick you up some.

Due to a softball tourney, I wasn't able to get to the stores for FCBD. Since they are free, I'll look into downloading them.

Lash, I like what you do with your extras.

Just spouting off.
