Cobalt...sometimes it just comes to me. It's rare but it happens.
Looking for Earth Prime.

DC has become fascinated with it's own past. Reviving Jordan as GL, Kara back in the Supergirl suit, and rumours of a CRISIS event... I'd rather not see them undo any more history. Change is good, if for no other reason than it makes us think and look at things from a different angle. Without it, we'd never have Hal Jordanin the first place. Whatever the new event is, I hope it moves the company forward, not step back to relive olden days.
p.s.- I've got this nagging feeling they're going to reboot the whole universe, just sort of start all over again.
Just spouting off.

DC has always been reliving the "old days" - even when they revived GL and The Flash. It's not like they came up with new heroes, they dusted off old concepts. Then of course they brought all the old heroes back on "Earth-2". DC has always had one foot in the future with one in the past.

I can appreciate respecting the past. I'm digging the heck out of JSA, and it's themes on legacy and history. As for taking older concepts and making them fresh, give me the new Firestorm! Breach sounds like a very interesting title, as does the new Manhunter series.
My concern is the undoing of history, either through a storyline, or a rebooting. The new LSH isn't undoing past stories to return to a previous status; WnKy are giving us new stories, new characters, with a familiar vibe to them. To reverting back to Pre-Crisis would be like milking a tapped keg.
Just spouting off.

http://gelatometti.blogspot.com/2004/12/final-countdown-for.html It'll be Chapter One of a major crossover thing, not the thing itelf. The relative cheapness is just the same as, say the Batman 10c Adventure starting Bruce Wayne: Murderer/Fugitive and the Batman 12c Adventure starting War Games. The title being "Countdown" works with this theory too: Countdown to what? Crisis?
