So the DnA Legion won't "die"; they'll just no longer be chronicled. Yes, I know, that's lame, but that's what I'm thinking how the new LSH will be explained.

Or how about blaming Stephen Wacker or Mark Waid? I'm sure Johns (who I've met and spoken to several times) didn't out of the blue decide that flight rings also served as transuits. SOMEONE told him they do, either Berganza or Wacker or Waid.

Captain, why do you assume I actually care? I'm not buying, downloading or Bryning this issue or the special. I've seen Johns contradict himself within a single arc before, though (Go read JSA 34, then JSA 36 for the first example that pops into my head), so I can well believe he'd make this sort of mistake.
And besides, the buck stops with the writer. He's the guy who commits the stuff to paper/disk/etc.

He's the one who approves all the scripts, who confers with other editors, who makes sure the artists, colorists and letteres have done their job. And if you don't care, why are you chiming in?

I'm not chiming in. I make one sarcky comment based on past experience, then I make two replies to people taking issue with my sarcky comment, saying "I don't care" in one of them and don't post anything actually related to the issue at all

Why is the whole flight-rings-cum-transuits issue even being debated?
Hello? It's the 31st century. Upgrades, yo. In *this* story, taking place in the *future* of the reboot Legion, the flight rings DO function as transuits. Perhaps a mass-produced replication of Brainy's force-field tech.
Show me a real continuity boo-boo, then we'll talk...
(my opinion is colored by the fact that I always thought transuits were stupid)

I like having the transuit function be in the ring. Much cleaner than covering themselves in plastic. Hope it makes it past December.
Like Legion World being gone. Too much structure.
Don't like anyone dying, but makes more material for the death purists.
Coulda come up with something better than the ax slicing reality. Something else else maybe that would explain 100 versions of the fatal five working together.

Who said it was 'our' Persuader anyway? I just assumed it was a Persuader from another reality as 'our' Persuader is on that flying prison, and who knows what an alternate Atomic Axe could do?
Legion Worlds NINE - wait, there's even more ongoing amazing adventures? Yup, and you'll only find them in the Bits o' Legionnaire Business Forum.

Just a wild stab in the dark...just suppose that an alternate Legion from a random Fatal 500 dimension appears in the crossover special. Unlike before when the 5YG Adult Legion and the SW6 young Legion merged and disappeared, when these 2 or more Legions have to merge together what we end up is this new Legion. The Blinovitch Limitation Effect (aka the Time Distortion Effect in which the result of 2 beings of past and future meeting would be "Zap!") would not apply here because these 2 Legions would be different and not from the others' future. This knowledge that I share is all courtesy of Doctor Who (thank you!)
My only thought is the aftermath: How will it affect the Flash Family...will XS still exist? Will Superboy and Superman remember this Legion? Will any of the Titans remember this Legion? Are there any survivors on Legion World?
Can't wait to find out!
The best way to find out where you're from is to find out where you're going and then work backwards. Where are you going? I don't know!

Another person who doesn't really get the whole "smash destroy" Fatal Five-Hundred image. What are they trying to accomplish here? Since when do they go around just blowing stuff up for no good reason? Maybe this is part of some complicated scheme we just aren't privy to yet. I don't mind the flight ring/transuit idea, but the Atomic Axe cutting through dimensions is going too far. I hope it's explained somehow. It just doesn't make any sense, as a statement, to say "He cut through to parallel realities." It's like saying "He punched time." (Yeah, I know, it's a comic book. Stiiiiiiill...) I like the Teen Titans series, or what I've read of it, but I found this issue a disappointment. It seemed like almost a random string of events. Then again, it's a crossover--when are they ever much more than that?

After reading the issue, i have to say that i liked it. It wasn't as fast-paced, action loaded as i might have liked, but it was a crossover issue with a cancelled book, so i takes what i can gets.
Now, the Persuaders atomic axe was always said to be able to cut through "ANYTHING". Anything means anything, not just 'somethings'. We know that it isn't limited to just the physical. It has cut gravity before, it has cut energy before. Stretching those two divergent ideas to include parts of the space/time continuum is not out of the question.
It would be more fun, however, to have the Time Trapper behind it. Yup, gotta luv TT (sorry for the pun, which can be taken several ways, lol). Just think, the legion and the TT taking on the Fatal 500 and the TT.
Ohhhh, now if only we could get the Fatal Five from the silver age era to take on the SW6 fatal Five, with the legion trapped between the two....good fun for everyone.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!

In the postboot fight versus the Fatal Five, Persuader's axe is deflected by Brainy's forcefield. Then again, it's obviously more powerful now, so maybe an upgrade. I'll accept a comic book science explaination, I'd just like to receive one.

Sigh. Was not happy at all with this issue. I was willing to take my lumps and see 'my' Legion wiped out without complaint (well, some small ones), but after reading this... Ugh. I would've rathered they didn't conclude everything at all if we're going to get a Bruckheimeresque explosion-fest instead of any characterisation to help us say goodbye to characters we've grown to love over the last 10 years. Seeing what we got, I doubt we'll get any sort of a finale to Gates and a number of other characters. And I doubt we'll get much of a story either, other than fight-page after fight-page. Well, there goes Black Mark One against my enjoyment of the new Legion... First of many, I fear.

Now, when Kon calls Lar "Mon-El" instead of "M'onel"- is that the writer's fault, the editor's fault, or the letterer's fault?
