I don't think so but I'm getting extremely tired of both Dick and Ollie's current states in the DCU.
I used to love both of these characters but right now, I'm having a really hard time finding anything positive about them.
And it drives me batty that Ollie actually had grown somewhat as a character during Smith's run, only to have Winick toss everything out in one issue.

JLA 122
spoiler space spoiler space spoiler space spoiler space spoiler space spoiler space spoiler space spoiler space spoiler space
"Dead's not what it used to be". Hah! At least in the DCU.
Supergirl and Red Tornado are this month's inductees. About time for one (she was considered for membership in the late 70's) and welcome back for the second. It's always fun to see Reddy appear.
Worried about The Flash.
Tired of OMACs.
Interested in the Dawn/Martian Manhunter/Key connection.
Want an Aquaman/Green Arrow/Black Canary helmed League to be taken seriously and to succeed. The story's not living up to the title. Something else else called WORLD WITHOUT A JUSTICE LEAGUE should be a good bit grander than this has been thus far.

JLA #124 Green Arrow is envious of Batman's status as JLA big gun- especially since he, like GA, isn't a metahuman. I'm SHOCKED! It'd be funny if the 'envy' demon wasn't affecting Ollie, but was getting off on his display of envy.
If it weren't for Black Canary, I'm not sure I would've bought this. Though I did like the Manitou-ghost directing everyone every which way. That could actually be a bit of fun, in a less serious context.
I'm over The Key- I liked him better with lock-related gizmos.

And so it ends -- both the World Without A Justice League arc and the third volume of JLA, with issue # 125. I started reading this arc with wild enthusiasm, and finished reading it with great dissapointment. I don't blame Harras, though. As the story arc went on, there was more and more evidence of editorial interference. The last issue, in particular, seemed to have been re-written and re-drawn about twenty times. Harras is not one of the "inner circle" of DC writers (Johns, Waid, Rucka, Morrison, Giffen...have I left someone out?), so that's to be expected. And now, they're going to re-launch JLA with the guy who wrote Identity Crisis on board. DC, get a clue, willya? But I stand by my earlier opinion that Harras wrote Ollie Queen better than anyone since Denny O'Neil. When I started reading this story arc, I was unaware of the idiotic things that Winick had made Ollie do. Looking at the big picutre, I think Harras made the best of a bad situation, and I think his understanding of Ollie came through clearest in the following inner monologue from # 123, as Ollie prepares to fight The Key's robot: "Okay, so I can't leap tall buildings in a single bound, and I don't wear any fancy power rings...hell, I'm not even the World's Second Greaest Detective (whatever that means.) But I am a guy with a helluva lot of chutzpah. And that's got to count for something in a crisis, right?" If DC had any sense (Ha Ha), they would kick Winick off Green Arrow and replace him with Harras. But I'm not holding my breath (though I do plan to e-mail them with that suggestion.)

DC's had some great work and some crap work come out of the whole IC set-up. The fill ins used to hold place til OYL kicks in have all been rather poorly done. This is no exception.
Harras may have written a good tale, but it never seemed to have the energy of most every other story in this seires run. To be fair, since they brought in the rotating creators, it's been rather lackluster.
The story seemed unworthy of the JLA title. I mean it felt more like a cross-over between GA and Bats as opposed to a JLA story. And yeah, The Key works better as a power hungry psycho, instead of a mad psychic.
Ah well, I'm down one book for a while.
Just spouting off.

Yeah, I thought it went out with a whimper instead of a bang -- which in itself wouldn't have been a bad thing, but they totally could've mined the whole "end of the JLA" a bit better -- even if we all know it's not permanent.

I didn't say he wrote a good tale. I said he did a good job of writing Ollie Queen. I think under better working conditions, he could have written a good story, but that wasn't the case here.

This one really limped to the finish. The product had nothing to do trying to make a compelling read. Obviously this arc existed to prevent Marvel from picking up market share in the last four months before OYL launches, i mean double shipped in one month even.
For the next three months, the new #1 launches and the weekly 52 will pick up for Flash/WW/JLA in the batting order. Just in time for a summer of number one launches. See why Marvel has announced three big events for this year?
Excuse me while I breakdown the numbers in my head. I think this is called revenue maximization. 'Kay gotta go, thinking about marketing makes me feel slimy.
