Please do, Barry.
And yeah, Pov. That's supposed to be the new IK. Since, Barry inspired the new graemlin, I wanted to use one of his characters. If he ends up not wearing the white headgear, I'll change him.
BTW, I slowed him down a bit. I think it looks better. No?

Just looking at the amount of detail that Barry put into those pencil is amazing.
I wish I had that much talent and patience.

Just got back from vacation. Loved the art as always, loved the sequence with Jeckie and her dad ("it made me look fat" lol!) but why did they have to destroy Orando? It's the most interesting of all the Legionnaires' home planets, IMHO. Why not boring Bgztl or insignificant Imsk?

Wait til you see the 'new' Imsk! (I'm feeling pleased with myself now for actually finding the graemlin!)

I wish I had that much talent and patience. Anyone who doesn't call this art doesn't know his head from his nass. Awesome pencils as always Barry!

I have to say, I *love* how we're sloooowly getting to know all the Legionnaires and finding out more and more about each one every issue. I really have no complaints about the characterizations or costumes--other than I miss Cos having the black/blue hair! :-) There are too many brown haired guys on the team! But I'm pretty sure I'll get over THAT. :-)Also, I'm still not wild about Sun Boy's costume and hair, but it's growing on me.
I thought I had figured out what Projectra was going to be like, but boy was I wrong. Mark and Barry's characterization is MUCH better than what I was anticipating!
Last night I re-read all 6 issues. This is really playing out like a good novel. It's really building to something GREAT.

Barry never *did* comment on this, did he?

Orando is a planet of mystics. Projectra has powers -- in fact she's channeling someone right now!

Ok I'm very late to the party. But I have got to say this has probably been the most effective issue so far. I have complained elsewhere about this change for the sake of it and I stand by that but for the first time in this entire series I actually connected with somebody in this series. I felt really bad for jekkie at the end of this and I beleive it was achieved in the most heavy handed way but at least it was something.

Hold the phone! Isn't one of the specialties of Orando and magic in general the art of illusion? I see Barry mentioned surprises to come and as I read that it occured to me that quite possibly Orando could be the first planet to ESCAPE destruction at the hands of the bad guys. It's not exactly a new tactic to make the villian think he's succeeded by a little flash and glam, y'know. -heh- especially for the Legion. How could we ever forget Venge's attack on Legionworld?
Jeckie's homeworld could very well be quite safe but temporarily hidden from the rest of the universe by a powerful illusion. Could this be the first real mistake made by the mysterious Lemnos? Thinking back on one of Lash's threads I could esaily imagine a chain of events that reveals Condo Arlik as an agent that helps bring down the mysterious chemical memory manipulater revealed in the backup story. Always remember that Waid is very very devious, if he's appearing to be heavy handed then you can bet there's a subtle sub plot behind it.
