More random thoughts: If you were dating a Carggite and broke up with her, you might as well move off the planet because you'll never be dating anyone again once they assimilate with each other and swap stories. A planet full of women might not be the dream we thought it might be...

I got your joke (which I just read). It was about "that time of the month".  As for the other...maybe not. What if their experiences with other people continues to make them different, like with Triplicate Girl? It's entirely possible that they might never assimilate again...which could be good for the guys.
