I just bought my first new comic since whenever the DC Nuboot was - months ago!
Batman: Leviathan Strikes
I've been enjoying Grant Morrison's Batman opus too much to let DC's desperate death throes get in the way of it. And the fact that it is (apparently) still set in the old universe is just the icing on the cake. Can't wait to read it!

I got a Kindle Fire from my parents. Tried a bunch of free comics from Coxology...actually not that bad.

CBS had a big 50% off sale today on trades, so I bought: Kevin Smith's Green Hornet Vol. 1 100 Bullets Vol. 1 & 2 The Twelve Vol. 1 League of Extraordinary Gentlemen: Century 1910 & 1969 My regular pulls today were the this week's latest releases of: Walking Dead Flash Aquaman Green Wake Alpha Flight (final issue  ) Jennifer Blood Legion: Secret Origin American Vampire All-Star Western Captain America & Bucky Angel & Faith Zounds, that's a lotta $$$$$!

I just read the first non-Garth issue last night, and so far, it's pretty seamless! Ewing picks right up on some of Garth's loose threads and continues the diary style. I'll keep you posted!

One of my LCBS also has a bundle sale thing where you get a bunch of issues of a title for a lower price. I decided to grab the Ex Machina grab bag (if you will). I had started collecting the series when it came out, but had to drop it due to money issues way back when. I'm not 100% sure where I stopped, but for 3.99, I got issues: 8, 10, 11, 13 - 20, 24, 25, 28 - 30, 39, 40, 44 - 50 and Special 1 (of 2)
Just have to find the fill ins, and see what I already have.
