I grabbed one, along with the other one-shots that have come out.
Read it; still chewing it over.

I've been getting all of the war one-shots so far. I figure since they're one-shots...
My favorite so far is Weird War Tales because of the first story.

Finally made it to the store today (today being yesterday, but I just got out of work, so my 'day' hasn't ended yet...).
LoSH 5 Adventure 518 Avengers Academy 4
Avengers Academy remains on life support. What a limp-ass beginning to a series (exacerbated not merely by 'paced-for-trade' writing, but by the presence of *two* complete superteams, with the six students and their five teachers, resulting in almost everyone getting short shrift, character-wise). I'm mostly interested in Finesse, Reptil and Striker, and, I'm getting the impression that after their 'intro' issues (5 and 6), I'll be less interested in both Striker and Reptil...
And I ain't gonna buy this book for Finesse. She's not [i]that[i] interesting.

Fables #99 Tiny Titans #33 Darkwing Duck #5 Gen13 #38 New Mutants #18 Batman and Robin #15 Green Lantern Corps #53 Legion of Super-Heroes #6 The Stand: Hardcases #4 DCU Halloween Special 2010
So far the only ones I've actually read are Tiny Titans, Legion, The Stand, and the Halloween Special.
I couldn't control my laughter from the second-to-last page of Tiny Titans. And Lil' Cass Cain in her Batgirl outfit felt like something out of Invader Zim.
Over in The Stand, Harold Lauder officially creeps me out.
And the highlight of the Halloween Special is the Batman story by Billy Tucci, and the Teen Titans story featuring Klarion and two hipsters who managed to piss off said witch boy.

No, unfortunately. I've only read the comic and seen the movie. But I know we have it.
Hell, I got Mike Perkins to do a head sketch of Mother Abigail at NYCC.

Sarky, I'm sure the comic is pretty good, but NO King adaptation has EVER compared to the prose originals! Check it out, G!

The problem with me is I never seem to finish any Stephen King novel I start. I can only ever finish the short stories. The closest to a novel I've finished was The Langoliers.
