Comments on issue #2?
I really really liked the Hounds of Chaos. "They're trained to sniff out the slightest whiff of chronal distortion or probability tracking." ~emphasis Hal's~ I'd say, Time Travelers beware! They were cool.
I liked the Brothers Cragg a lot too. They bear a striking resemblance to a certain villian that killed the big red S a few years back, we might have finally seen where some of Doomsday's DNA may have come from. (at least I thought so)
Another thing I just have to mention though, is it's true that if Perez were drawing the Blue Beetle I might just be buying it. Finally someone makes that costume make sense.
I didn't love it but I liked it. It'll stay on my pull list for a while...especially if there's a Legion team up coming soon. Cool.

I rather enjoyed # 1 amd 2.
Nice story/art combo. Looking forward to find out which Fatal 5-er kills Batman next issue!

We keep telling you: Bats is going to deck them all while Blue Beetle watches and learns.
I liked the Hounds of Chaos too. I wonder if they're a nod to the Hounds of Tindalos of Cthulhu Mythos fame.

I liked how Hal was shown to be knowledgeable of outer spaee stuff and alien cultures. He (or John) should be shown more as a go-to guy when it comes to alien encounters/ investigations.
The Supergirl/Hal flirtation thing was cute, but Hal's "rejection speach" seemed too contrived as a setup for Supergirl's gambit.
This is an entertaining enough title, but I don't see myself really getting into it unless it showcases a character I care about.

So I finally read this. I thought it was good, *except* for the whole Supergirl/Hal flirtation thing, and Supergirl's dialogue generally, which I thought was pretty horrid.

I'm sure it's been noted elsewhere, but did anyone else catch the cover to Brave and the Bold 5? Sweeeeeet!

Well, it's definitely not his best cover ever. I've never been a fan of "high school class picture" type covers. A variety of dramatic poses would have been nice, but then he was trying to include a number of Legionnaires into a small space. What I thought was sweet was that the Legion was appearing and George was drawing them. I'm sure the interiors will more than make up for the cover

Oh my, Perez on the Legion... well, this is the Waid Legion, whereas we know what kind of Legion keeps on showing up in JSA... so which Legion will Perez end up drawing when he jumps on the book soon ??? I hope it's the "Return of the LevitzLegion" book, whatever and whenever it will come out

His Levitz Legion is much better than this legion. Issue #3? I liked it. The Perez interiors rocked. Love his Blue Beetle! Supergirl and Lobo? Not a big Lobo fan but ohwell. Love perez space stuff. The Fatal Five? They looked great. Hoped for a sexier Emerald Empress personally. Am I the only one who hates Tharok? Maybe cause he was dead already when I started reading? Or he just looks so darn silly? Anyways last page as lots of sillyness.
