Yeah, I noticed it was missing from the cover of '62 that I had seen. I guess people can point it out to them on the official MB.

Well, unless they make it cloth and removeable, it really would detract from the overall sculpt. I loooove the new picture you posted.. this figure is a definite.  I'm less sure about the BA Batgirl unmasked... I've got the SA set, and this is really just a repaint of that. It really shouldn't have the purse, as others have noted on the official DCD boards; and the "unmasked" head is great, EXCEPT that her hood is "pulled back" and worked into the sculpt. I'm not gonna display her perpetually unmaskING; I'd rather have an unmaskED head. As I said, I'm ambivalent on this one. But it is Babs...  Maybe if the price is right...

Made a few stops this morning, found the newer JLU 3-packs at TRU-- bought my first one, the Hawk and Dove set (w/ WW). Picked up the TTGo! Starfire/Robin 2-pack at Target, so I have the complete second wave of those.

AAAAAAAGH!  Anybody need any of the DC Barbies? My Wal*Mart can't get any of the newer assortments with Harley Quinn until they sell down what's already on the shelf!  They've had the same figs sitting on the shelves for months now... Ivy, the second Batgirl w/ black bodysuit, and both WW's. *sigh*...

We've got the same thing on the shelves here. Actually just the Ivy is left but they said they don't intend on bring in the next batch as these didn't sell well enough.

Wal*Mart does that. Their buyers are responsible for the fact that there's 27 dayglo Batmans to a case and 1 or 2 of what'll actually sell, then they stop carrying stuff when it sits on the pegs. They don't carry the JLU figures because they got stuck with all of the Batman and Superman figs they insist they need because they're the "popular" characters. It's freaking Catch-22. I can't get too mad about the DC Barbies here because my Wal's given them a fair deal. I just think the current figures have reached saturation. Maybe I'll ask how many they need to sell to get another batch in... I could give 'em away. "Gee, Bri, that Harley Quinn only cost you $100!"  Sad thing is, I'm considering it...

I'm getting bad about keeping up with these figures. I'm still missing TW, Invisible Kid, Ferro Lad, Colossal Boy and either Cham, Dirk or Thom. Not counting I didn't bother ordering the Composite Superman. Guess I need to hit up eBay soon.

Check DCBS, Scoot-- they should have all the recent Legionnaires for $12.50 per, and their shipping is better than anything you'll find on eBay.

DCD *has* sort of left collectors with the makings of a gay superhero bar, haven't they? At least in the Legion corner of their universe.

*sigh* I know, Gar, I see the one on the wall at Wonderland all the time. I've even tried to talk myself into getting it for completion's sake when they were running a 10% off sale.
