Y'know, with all of the former JLAers out there to pick from, why are they killing off so many Titans lately?

Well, they've killed off like 5 Titans in the last year or so, so there's still an uneven balance. AND Crisis isn't over yet

ah....yeah I might not explain more clearly....Stripey is not a JSAer but he disappeared alongside them except Stargirl...I wonder about Green Lantern Alan Scott - he is not disappeared YET...as Airwave is "zzzzkkkttted" - and look at upcoming issues of JSA - we see Jakeem Thunder, Dr. Mid-Nite II, Mr. Terrific, Power Girl, Stargirl...but no Sand....what the **ll that mean? Will we continue seeing more heroes disappearing in next issue of IC?
LL - I mentioned "AT LEAST two Titans die.." meaning that there are more than 2 dead Titans...who knows that they may bring Bushido back alive by making him a big time Frankenstien? He has a mystical background that may make him an immortal....who knows? I wold not be surprised to see him back alive later on. Maybe Risk will die from too much blood churning out of his shoulder....his death is not confirmed yet. Same thing with Red Star. Poor Pantha....Poor Wildebeest...we only knew you so little....RIP.
If I remember correctly from the Wizard magazine saying that there will be two more members that we will say Farewell from Donna's team - wonder if it's Airwave and Jade? Jade is nowhere to be seen.
I am not sure about Speedy II - alive or dead? since her body is not found in Green Arrow issue and she is right there with the Titans in IC #4, being alive...shade of Hawkman all over.
We finally got a revelation that Max Mercury is dead...alongside Johnny Quick and Barry Allen (by the way, it was so good to see them again! *sob*)

Whoa!
Someone spoil the Batgirl thing! Is she dead? What happened?
Also, same thing with Speedy? What happened there? Latest Green Arrow (haven't read it yet)?

Dr Light blew up their HQ, with Black Lightning, Connor, and Mia inside. During the most recent issue, we only see Black Lightning and Connor, Mia is MIA, supposedly still buried under the rubble. By reading Infinite Crisis 4, it would appear Air Wave is split into a million different directions, as he screams. I would think that would put him on the "dead" list, except he also uses his powers in Firestorm #21 to help Donna tell Jason's dad that Jason/Firestorm died. According to the sequence of events in IC4 however, Air Wave fizzled before Jason died. Based on that (and further events in Firestorm #21) it appears they will both "get better". This is good news, because I've always liked Air Wave, and have always thought he was underused/underdeveloped. On the flipside, he's been a bit whiny lately...

I get nervous when characters we haven't seen in a while show up during a major event. It never bodes well for them...

How did Firestorm die? It looks like he just burned out somehow -- is that really it? He exhausted himself to death?

That's more or less the explanation in Firestorm 21. Used too much power, Jason survived but his buddy Mick is gone. Looks like Jason will return but with an old friend Click Here For A SpoilerProfessor Stein in his head with him.

They spend the first year of Firestorm teasing us by bringing Ron back, and then "poof"!!! So I doubt this will keep either.

The gruesome deaths this issue were a guilty pleasure, I admit. And it's hard for me to get excited about Supes when there are a dozen powered aliens running around. Batman stopped being special the minute he got a family, Green Arrow got a family, and a slew of other avg humans popped up.
Just spouting off.

I think this may end up sticking for awhile And from dccomics.com Crisis Counseling, SB Prime only took out Bushido, Pantha and Wildebeast. Red Star is still alive and so is Risk. No mention of Airwave so I guess he is still good to go.

Here you go:
Click Here For A SpoilerShe was stabbed through the chest while fighting the League of Assassins (I believe by Ra's other daughter, though I mostly skimmed it. At the end of the issue, Stephanie (Spoiler) comes down in a field of white to 'welcome' her. They leave it hanging there.
It looks like she's dead, Jim.

Wow, thanks Stratum! You space-rawk!
A very abrupt ending for a 'big-deal' character though it seems. They *have* to have Bruce address this for it to have some semblance of legitimacy too (as a story).

If anyone is keeping track, there are now only five living Infinitors: Obsidian, Northwind, Brainwave, Hourman II and Atom Smasher (Nuklon). Hourman is the only one currently active as a hero.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

I kind of suspected that Jade would be killed in action....but did not realize that it would be the one to affect Klye to be Ion. now I wonder how Todd Rice and Alan Scott are feeling about her death. Hmm... interesting.

I figured this would happen too. It was too obvious with both Kyle and Alan on the outer space team.
