Dangit, Winick! I know he likes the Marvel Family characters, but I wish he'd stop using them. Superman/Shazam! has been awesome so far, but every other time he uses these characters he craps all over them.

I mean, Captain Nazi killed by a taser? Pft, yeah right.

According to "Crisis Counseling" on the DC boards, in "Robin" the OMAC's were rounding up villains and killing them by the hundreds! Does anyone know if any villains were mentioned by name??

All dumb villains I've never heard of before, and I like to think I have quite a bit of knowledge on obscure super-villains in DC and Marvel. I think they all might have been made up (at least the majority).

I read the Supes book, and it didn't register to me that Mxy was actually dead. I'm sure he'll be back...to be honest, Rucka's entire Superman run has left me so high and dry that I don't have the patience to figure out what's going on. (Same with Winnick's Batman).

I just read through the issue and saw no names. And, according to one of the villains who go away, there were heroes as well as villains being held by the OMACs before they began killing them.

but at least we have a few new villains for a debut, don't we? Tapeworm, and two more villains that I could not remmy since I skimmed the Robin book at the CBS.

In JSA #80 - I was left with a big disgusting feeling with what they have done to Hector and Lyta Hall. If you want to find out what exactly happen to them, better buy it now or skip it. thats it. no spoilers. A very lame story telling...in my opinion.

I mentioned in another thread that I wondered if Lyta and Hec's kid had survived Fury's temporary residence in the Dreaming - is the kid still alive or not?

And as everyone here has told you before-repeatedly I might add- you should be patient and wait for a repsonse and not double post the same question in two different threads.

Lyta's son turned out to be the new Sandman, Daniel. Which still seems to be sticking judgeing from past issues and the current one. He is still the new Sandman.

Manhunter - Kate Spencer - was revealed to be a granddaughter of the Golden Age the Atom... brr...what does that mean to the Damage....how are they going to be related?!?!

And the new Beetle(?)'s name is Jaime...not Jamie.

And you can put Tempest, Dolphin, Lori Lemaris (wasn't she already dead in Crisis?) and Arion in the TBD column. It's unclear whether they are alive or not.

Poor Neptune. But I bet he has special salmander powers that will allow to regrow his legs or Lori Lemaris's people will graft him a big ols fish tail.

And Jamie - Lori turned out to be alive later on. Durning the Crisis, she made her husband tell Clark/Superman that she was died so he would let her go and some noble ideal or something. It happend sometimes in the 90'S in the Superman titles.

Which Atlantis - Poseidonis, Tritonis or Arion's city? If its Poseidonis - then Aquaman, Mera, Tempest and co are very burnt toast, if it's Tritonis, then Lori Lemaris bites the dust (again).

Did the writers of this current crisis ever read the original COIE so that the death count list including the afore-mentioned Lori (and Wonder Woman).... didnt somehow mirror the death list in the first Crisis maxi -

I don't know how anyone can tell what was happening in those first three pages. The art was too busy and everything was unclear.

The first page looked like it took place at Sub Diego and then it quickly switched to one of the Atlatis cities. It was so confusing.

And yes, Tempest and Dolphin named their daughter "Cerdian."

Except that Cerdian was Tempest & Dolphin's son not daughter originally.

exactly that's what I mean...someone gotta tell Geoff Johns the continunity nuts that he missed this one! or does he read Aquaman book?

gotta make a list of new villains introduced in Robin #145....a lot of villains...some interesting, some huh huh, some meh...like Badlands, Equina, Fright Knight (has to be one of the funniest moment), etc. I think at least 12 villains were introduced. will do it tomorrow. Bonus: no one died in that issue.

Just FYI: One was King Shark and the other was The Shark (Green Lantern foe). On another message board, Kurt Busiek was showing off a sketch of King Shark from his new Aquaman series where you can see a scar left over from this impaling. I thought it was a pretty cool little detail.

HAWK II (Holly Granger) - Lost powers. Spectre killed the Lord of Chaos who powered her.

When I saw the page filled with all those underused magic characters, I was worried that they would be pointlessly used as cannon fodder. Some of my favorites were there like Zauriel, Janissary, Vixen, Amethyst, Witchfire, Rex the Wonder Dog and the Marvels. Luckily, they were all spared. Horray!
