I don't have them memorized but there were a number of villains who snuffed it in Villians United #1-7. But you did miss Doctor (?) Polaris from IC #1. I don't think there is any doubt that the Human Bomb took him out.

note: there was a bloodbath in Villains United #6, but I only listed the confirmed kills.

I thought I should, since one story seems to be spin directly out of events of the other, and, I think, DC has been marketing them as thematically linked.

But I can drop the Identity Crisis stuff if a majority seem to feel it does not belong.

Are all these save Firestorm from VU #7?

I don't think Cheshire is a 'confirmed' kill. Luthor tells Black Adam to 'bag her up' is she is still alive. And it looked to me like Slade went for a chest shot, not a head shot.

And it was VU #6, not #7. Only six issues in the lead-in minis (not counting the Donna Troy special).

It is my feeling all events since Identity Crisis count since the main Crisis is said to have officially began in Superman #200.

Nope. All the ones killed by OMACs were in the OMAC mini. The various Manhunters were killed in "Manhunter" over the last several months.

Bug and Byte were the villians Slade killed in VU#1.

Tim's Dad is Jack.

The BB villian is Overthrow.

Golden Eagle Charley Parker has also returned.

Robin Jason Todd has also returned.

I think the Queen Been also bit it in Firestorm.

If we're doing entrances and exits, it appears THE ATOM and BOOSTER GOLD are out of the picture.

Queen Bee got her arm blown off by Deadshot in VU #4 (or was it #5 they raided the base?). But she was shown as still alive there. I don't read Firestorm so I don't know if that took place before or after.

I do, mostly because the entire Manhunter backstory is retconned in this storyline. Plus, I believe the OMACs show up.

what about Scarecrow? I thought he was "perished" alongside Ragdoll by Parademon's explosion in VU#6?

Ratcatcher's real name is Otis Flannegan.

Shazam is the one who was killed by the Spectre.

Eclipso's status is unknown as she was transported to the orbit of the Sun by Nightshade.

Dr. Light II and Fire's status are unknown or maybe can say "out of action".

my wishlist: the deaths of the original Dr. Light, Dr. Psycho, and Psimon.

I missed the issue that explained it all, but it did tie into OMAC and the nannites and stuff somehow (Mark Shaw was infected and controlled by them).

So, anyone have a list of which Manhunters were killed, how they died, and the issue number(s) they bought it in?

RatCatcher is Batman's foe (and then Robin's foe) during No Man's Land, as if I recall correctly. He's like a Pied Piper...on a bad side.

First Appearance: Detective Comics #585 (April 1988)

A former rat catcher for the Gotham Sanitation Department, Otis Flannegan spent a decade in jail following a violent street brawl. On his release, he captured various officials connected with his jail sentence and held them in the sewer system. He was discovered five years later by the police and the Batman, who, after encountering Flannegan's army of rats, was able to save some of Flannegan's prisoners. The Ratcatcher is a disturbed man who has been incarcerated in Arkham Asylum. Most recently, he appeared in Metropolis, attacking friends of Clark Kent.
