I'm about to update it...

And I don't count the undead. I added Solomon Grundy on there only because he got tossed into the freaking sun.

SILVER LINING DEPT.

When compared to how many people died in the real world the last 7 yeats, 411 sounds positively pleasant. smile

True, but one could also factor in the amount of characters killed when they destroyed Bialya, Star City, Bludhaven, Earth-15, Earth-51, Titan...

True, but when one factors in that the people Lash is referring to were, you know, *real*, it's a different story.

hmmm Tarantula II? is that Catalina? I thought she was last seen alive in recent Secret Six...?

TRAVIS MORGAN the WARLORD dead?!?! HOW?

Zatara? you mean Zatara II? He still alive in the back up feature in Teen Titans. Hmmm same or different Zatara?

Psimon - was he killed during the Salvation Run, right?

AND DONT FORGET TO ADD Myg of Lythyl (Karate Kid II) to the list!

Morgan was killed off by none other than Mike Grell during the current Warlord series (which is ending in an issue or two).

I thought Catalina met her end in the Secret Six arc in which she appeared, which was in the first few issues of the title.

Why do I keep forgetting to add Myg? Sorry.

Oh, and Zatanna's dad, Giovanni Zatara. Granted he was already dead, but they wiped out his soul in Reign of Hell.

ah, don't worry so much. Death in DC comics is easily reversible.

For how long? They kept saying "dead is dead". It's gonna take this list and a lot of convincing to let them bring back a few and then shut the machine off for the next... three or four years.

Part of the problem is that the ease of "bringing back" characters makes killing them off that much easier. And that much more pointless, except for the gratuitous shock-value of it.

Considering the number of deaths compared to resurrections, resurrections are pretty rare.
