Imra's a steady and vetted hand, and likewise Brainy -- generally my top two picks -- but Chuck has the chops and the experience, and being married to Duplicate Dame ("Damsel"? let's not kid ourselves, not after three honeymoons) he knows how to handle a crowd.

I voted for Duplicate Damsel in this new poll,while Lournu has not been a favorite of mine in the past,due to her absense from the team in my era,I started with Cockrum and Bates,her wedding to Bouncing Boy got them Reserve status and for the most part out of the book.
I do see alot of potential in the character,being the first to join the group after the founder's,that and her new powers would let her be everywhere at once,a pretty good power to have for a Legion Leader.
I was tempted to vote for Tyroc if this were a real election,just so Mr.Levitz would have to use him.

I have always been a big fan of Jeckie as leader. Her regal background mixed with her tenure as a Legionnaire are combined a winning combo for me...

I voted for Night Girl....I think she'd actually be really good at it, she strikes me as being a strong enough personality that she would have no problems at all with the transition from Sub to actual Legionnaire.
I would LOVE to see Jeckie actually get a chance to lead the team, but only if she has the same characterisation she did as when she was Sensor Girl the first time around. Jeckie seems a lot more of a generic background character since this team have been reintroduced...

Tinya and Lu are the two I'd most prefer to see as leaders.
Not every Legionnaire has the temperament for the job, but these two seem pretty well suited to the position, and could have some interesting reactions to the job.

My vote would go to Dream Girl. I voted for her back in the 80s when she got the job (I think I may have voted more than once actually ... heh, heh, heh). Anyway, she deserves it again and she's already proved she could make the tough decisions (see The Great Darkness Saga).
My second choice would be Queen Projectra/Sensor Girl. It would be an interesting term in office for her if she won.

Wouldn't it be cool though if Paul made a completely out-of-left-field choice and gave the job to someone you would never conceive to get it? Someone like, oh I dunno, Night Girl!?
Imagine Lydda as Legion Leader for a moment. The experience is certainly there and she has seen her fair share of battle. Plus she was going out with a long-time and frequent holder of the job for quite a while, so she would have picked up a few tips over the years .... hmmmmmmm, I like it!

I am voting for Tyroc for a couple of reasons.
1) I like it when comics mirror reality.
2) Tyroc would not like Earth-Man to be on the team. This would create tension.
3) Maybe we will see some new Legionnaires.
