I don't know about the second quote, but would the first one about "him flipping" be from Element Lad or Star Boy about Brainiac 5, who went to visit their Coluan comrade only to be rudely turned away in Adventure #341, the beginning of the Computo story?

CORRECT! I actually read it reprinted in the LSH #3 (1973) I thought the first quote would be too obscure, but I have apparently underestimated the abilities of my comrades. You're up, Future!

My classification of V2 is actually the S&LSH book when it became LSH, since it was the second book to ever hold the 'Legion of Super-Heroes' title.

Well, I've stalled the game enough. It's Vibrex(sp?) to Cosmic Boy, circa LSH #267.
Does BRM or anyone else who answered one of the previous questions want to take over? I doubt I'll be around long enough to help another quote go through the game.
