I know there was a version of this game before, but I didn't want to look for it.


Here is the setup:

You are on monitor duty. An "emergency" call comes in and you have to assign 5 Legionnaires to answer the call. Whom do you send and what is your reasoning? (you can mix eras if you want. Such as sending XS with Tellus)

Ex: You have to send a Legionnaire to infiltrate a circus. Timber Wolf is sent in as an acrobat.

Then you provide another "emergency" for the next poster to send Legionnaires to.

Not a hard & fast rule, but try not to use any of the Legionnaires used in the previous post.

So to start off the thread:

Emergency! Calling the Legion of Superheroes! Validus is on a rampage and is destroying the Space Orphanage! Send help!

**Of course, you would send in the Legion of Super Pets! Comet, Beppo, Krypto, and Streaky can handle Validus while Proty protects and keeps the orphans entertained.

NEXT: There are rumblings from Zerox that Mordru may revive once more. Send a team to Zerox to look into these rumors.

Gosammer - can tame Mordecai

Triad - six hands are better then one against Mano

I'm gonna say XS since she might be able to break into the timestream.
Jazmin, for the same reasons, and (sigh) she can even lead the team, if she must.
Supergirl, for the heavy lifting and because it's a crisis and all.
And actually, oddly enough, my gut says Superboy as well, same reason. May be redundant, but let's go with the gut!

Dreamer - to keep the team one step ahead of Imra

Princess Projectra - Her illusions will disorient the SP
Quislet - Like the SP can stop him

Emergency ! Calling the Legion of Superheroes! Universo has been sighted on both Zoon and Phlon. Pick two teams of five members each for this mission (Hey it's my game and I can change the rules )

Team Zoon:

Saturn Girl - We NEED her along on this one, and she's the team's best hope for finding Universo quickly and protecting them from his powers.

XS - to take out Universo fast!

Dreamer - she works well with Imra and she can foresee what Universo might do

Star Boy - he can take Universo out from a distance

Violet - she provides the element of surprise

Team Phlon:

Shikari - to find Universo quickly, and if he's not there, to get this team to Zoon fast!

Sensor - to protect this team from Universo's powers

Ultra Boy - his speed will be an asset, and even if he's mind-controlled he at least won't be impossible to take down

Kinetix - also to take Universo out from a distance

Brainiac 5 - his computer mind mgith be able to figure out a way to stop Universo's telepathy

Emergency! The Legion is needed to evacuate the planet Hynap in the Kwai Galaxy. Apparently, the Credo are back and about to invade! Send 5 Legionnaires to help evacuate and 5 to stall the Credo army.

Evacuation Team (preboot):

Saturn Girl, to help with crowd control.
Colossal Boy, same reason.
White Witch, cause maybe she can cast a mass-teleportation spell or a spell of protection or something.
Mon-El, to fight any Credo that slip through.
Shadow Lass, because she goes with Mon-El everywhere he goes.

Attention Legion HQ the blight have returned and have attacked a joint UP/AP planet. the Affiliated planets will be sending representatives to assist and co-ordinate a plan of attack!

M'Onel - since his powers can't be blighted, he'd be a great asset

Saturn Girl - she was instrumental in the Blight's defeat last time

Apparition - another Legionnaire who can keep herself from being blighted

Chameleon - in case we need someone to infiltrate the blight. Plus, he probably has the most experience against them.

Cosmic Boy - another Legionnaire who has lots of experience, and he can get along with almost anyone. He'd make sure that the Legion works well with the guys from the AP.

extra: Shvaughn Erin - she has tons of experience with the Blight too, has lots of battle experience in general and would make a great coordinator/commander

One of our students left his omnicom behind on a field trip to Woodstock. When he went back, he couldn't find it. It was crammed full of information about the past which to the people of 1969 will be the future. If anyone accesses that information, it will have dire consequences for the present. We have determined that the omnicom does need to be lost, so we can't just go back and prevent it from being lost. But it does need to be recovered.

Like, yeah, man! It's back to the past!

BRAINIAC 5 - he'd know a lot about the past, and his presence on the mission will make it run a lot smoother

DAWNSTAR - and how else are we going find the Omnicom?

SENSOR GIRL - why, to make sure we blend in, of course!

KINETIX - it doesn't matter if the Omnicom's buried under tons of trash or is locked up in a safe. Zoe's telekinesis will make sure the Legion gets to it.
