Which two Legionnaires have had the gall/misfortune of interpreting the Legion Constitution in front of Saturn Girl and having her call them out on it?

The Legion #5 and LSH v3 #51. Two different instances.

Just seemed like Leaders are more apt to quote the Legion Constitution. smile

Lyle wasn't, but he was calling Imra out on her reluctance to protect refugee Progeny.

Polar Boy was; this was during the trial of Brainiac 5 for the "murder" of Jaxon Rugarth/Infinite Man.

That whole trial arc was dramatic, but frankly it made me lose a lot of respect for several Legionnaires -

Brainy and Imra seemed to be willing to twist the Constitution to their purposes. Don't get me wrong, I do agree with them that Rugarth was brain-dead, but I also remember how Brainy and Imra were among the ones who ragged on Star Boy for his accidental killing of Kenz Nuhor - whereas these two used Rugarth with knowledge that his body would likely die. Seemed like a lot of hypocrisy to me.

Phantom Girl was one of the Legionnaires who admitted to voting against Brainy because she was a friend of Luornu's - not because of her convictions. Violet thought much the same, telling Jacques that he could vote for Brainy in gratitude of receiving his powers.

And Polar Boy lost some respect from me because he could have stopped this thing before Brainy put the plan in motion - why put him on trial after? I don't recall him doing anything - unlike the White Witch, who resigned in protest.

*ahem* sorry for going off on a tangent.

Okay, my question...

Two Postboot Legionnaires were foreshadowed as having grim fates should the Postboot timeline have continued. Can you name these two, and cite the instances which led us to believe they might someday die in action?

Dreamer had a vision of Star Boy's grave - although this would probably have been him blown back in time to become "Danny Blaine" rather than an actual death.

And there was also the future glimpse of Sister Andromeda, who was shocked to see Kinetix alive.

Correct and correct, Reboot.

Another correct answer would have been LSH Annual 7, the Dead Earth annual where Wildfire's recollections included a memorial statue of Gates.

In any case, you're up!

In real life it would be hypocrisy. In comics it's usually just a change of writers. Or forgetful editors. smile

Who said 'I know he comes off all "zeroes and ones", but he's really sweet under that emotionless exterior" of whom, when?

Spark describing Brany to (Matrix-version) Supergirl? Or perhaps Ferro during the Team20 storyline?

Well, it was Brainiac 5 who was spoken of. None of the rest is right, though.

Here's a hint - when it was said is what I consider to be the tricky part of the question. Knowing that, the other stuff falls into place. smile

I seem to recall Supergirl describing Brainy to someone using that very phrase, but can't quite recall where other than it was in a Supergirl issue.

Wild guess - was it Superman saying it about him during the Final Night event?

Recap time - Who said 'I know he comes off all "zeroes and ones", but he's really sweet under that emotionless exterior' of Brainiac 5, and when?
*Wasn't Spark to Supergirl during Supergirl v4 Annual #2.
*Wasn't Supergirl during a Supergirl issue
*Wasn't Superman or Ferro during Final Night, or indeed Ferro at any point during Team 20.

And I consider that once you have the issue, the rest will be easy smile

It wasn't a LSH title, no.
