Arguably Brainy joined solo, since, while drafted at the same time as others, he showed up later.
Anyway, new question coming later today.

Which Legionnaire once had a mission to help with a planetary census?

Not Phantom Girl.
Hint: Though the character was originally assigned the mission alone, they brought several other members with them.

Triplicate Girl seems too obvious, but that would be my guess.

Not Saturn Girl.
Hint: the Legionnaires who accompanied this character of the mission were Ultra Boy, Lightning Lad, Shrinking Violet, and Bouncing Boy.

Not Sun Boy.
Hint: Superboy showed up on this mission as well, but not in time to prevent disaster!

Dream Girl it is! When Saturn Girl assigned her to aid with the census on Vondra to get her out of the way, she had a premonition of danger, which was really an ex use to take the four Legionnaires in question along and expose them to the de-aging aurora!

Whose hand is Invisible Kid seen holding as the Legionnaires run from the Hunter at the start of his "game"?

I happened to re-read "Evil Hand of the Luck Lords" (Adv. 343) the other day, and I noticed that Lyle acted very tender toward Vi when both their powers failed. Apparently Mort or someone was trying to imply a close friendship or more between them.
Be back in a day or so with a new question.

Match each Legionnaire with the manner in which he or she was killed (temporarily, as it turned out) by Mask Man:
a. Brainiac 5 b. Chameleon Boy c. Colossal Boy d. Cosmic Boy e. Element Lad f. Invisible Kid g. Lightning Lass h. Mon-El i. Phantom Girl j. Saturn Girl k. Shrinking Violet l. Ultra Boy
1. exposure to an element from another dimension 2. frozen 3. hit by a falling asteroid 4. lab explosion 5. petrified 6. poison air 7. ship crash 8. struck by lightning/electricity
And, yes, there is an uneven number of choices because Mask Man used some methods to kill more than one Legionnaire.

Wow, Future. All of those are correct, except one. (Guess which one.)

Probably the one I left blank with Invisible Kid. ...although I think that's kind of ironic because didn't he die off-panel? I might be misremembering. I'd assume he got the gas, like Xben guessed.

Yep, IK died off panel by poisoned air. (Or maybe he died on panel; since he was invisible at the time, we'll never know. ) Xben was the first to get all answers correct, so he wins.

From one of the first Legion comics I ever owned, which four Legionnaires had the task of dealing with the genie Kantuu?
