They all died before they were 18, except Gates who suggested he would die before that age?

Close enough smile (Number's off a bit (Gates' line was "If I live to be twenty", and I wasn't sure of the others' ages at death, so I had it down as 22-25 to be safe). But yeah, they all died before they were 25, except Gates who suggested he'd be dead of old age at that point smile

Away you go EDE

Yeah, I couldn't remember the exact line, and figured it would take to try to figure out which issue it was in.

Comet has him turn into Superboy and carry out a mission in that guise

Streaky has him impersonate a legionnaire (he chooses Cham) and accompany Saturn Girl on a mission without her realizing it's him

Beppo has him keep the Legionnaires out of the clubhose for an hour

and Krypto has him hunt and track him for two hours.

While on a mission with Wildfire and other heroes, Lar Gand witnessed the killer of someone who previously wore a Legion ring flee.

Who killed who?

He saw Deregon, killer of Chemical King, teleport away from them.

Looking over the issues 228-9, I see Deregon teleporting, but not in front of Lar, nor on a mission when he and Wildfire are together.

Good guess, tho.

Hmm...I guess you're right. Mon as picked by Wildfire to head up the Deregon revenge mission, but he didn't actually see Deregon flee.

I'm guessing he witnessed the Anti-Monitor, who had previously killed Supergirl, flee.

Lar saw Sensor Girl, who killed Nemesis Kid, flee.

It's a guess.

lance- such a good guess I had to double-check. No Wildfire tho, and it's not clear if Lar saw Validus flee.

Craig- Neither Lar nor Drake were on Orando at the time, nor did Jeckie flee (unless you count teleporting Orando into another dimension as fleeing, but Lar and Wildfire still weren't there).

EDE is correct! the hint was "and other heroes," not necessarily other Legionnaires. Crisis #7 sees Kara's death, after she effectively destroys S-M's physical incarnation. His energy trail flees to an escape ship, ad blasts off, leaving Lar and Wonder Woman agape. Wildfire, meanwhilw, has the unpleasant duty of radioing the rest of the team (assorted Kryptonians, GLs, Marvels and atomic-powered people, mostly) that she's dead.

Your go, EDE!

What Legion villain's first chronicled crime was stealing a credimeter from someone who was "ten wagers to the better at the star stones".

Wow - you guys got more than the one's I counted - except for Dawnstar, who killed on the Kol planet, and Mon-El, who killed the Time Trapper - sort of. Also, when did pre-boot Cham kill?

Eryk got more, so back to you EDE.

Lance, he's probably referring to the fact that Cham had to kill his brother in order to live. This was before he joined the Legion, apparently it's a rite of passage on Durla, and he always felt guilty over it.

I knew there was another one right around the time of Projectra killing NK and Jacques killing the Khund, but I couldn't remember who it was.

Actually, I just remember generically hearing that PBCB had killed, not the specifics smile

And EDE, remember to ask a Q this time, huh smile
