I can look it up when I get home after work. But it'll be about 3 hours from now.

That's fine, Craig! Thanks for the help and apologies again for my bad memory.

It's Legion of Super-Heroes #301, if anyone else wants to look it up.

I looked it up. I think you're conflating two different scenes (which, incidentally, happen to be in issue 302, not 301).

At the beginning of the issue, Mekt invades Legion HQ. That's where he injures Dawnstar, but Phantom Girl is nowhere in those pages.

Later, the Legionnaires who were there, plus reinforcements, tried stopping Mekt atop the surface of the polymer shield. There, Phantom Girl and Shadow Lass both got hit with lightning...although it doesn't look like it phased through PG and hit Shady, but rather that it was a broad lightning blast which was aimed at all of them.

Haha. Yeah, I fail at the memory game. Thanks so much for the clarification, Chaim.

All yours, Marla.

okay, let's see...

What two legionaires 'failed' to defeat the ice dragon?

The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

Bouncing Boy and Duo Damsel pretended to not be able to defeat it in order show the colonists of the world they were on (forget the name) they didn't need ex-Legionnaires to solve all of their problems.

Correct!

sorry for the delay here, BTW. busy work-week plus a few other headaches and memory lapses.

It's Scott's question!

I couldn't remember either Scott, so I looked it up. The planet was Wondil IX in this back-up tale in S/LSH #257. And a colonist named Norsk defeated the ice dragon when Chuck and Luornu "failed".

BTW, with Scott being sick perhaps someone else (maybe Omni?) should provide the next question.

If Scott (get well soon!) and Kent don't mind, I'll oblige to keep things moving. smile

Preboot: Who were the first Teen Titan and Legionnaire to meet face to face, and in what issue? (going from memory here, so I could be wrong. I do have a specific issue in mind).

In Action #270, Supergirl and Robin meet for the first time, if that counts.

Robin traveled back in time and met Superboy in a Silver Age Adventure comic but I can't be sure of the issue number, maybe #255?

You are each 1/2 right, but neither is the one I have in mind. I will belatedly add the condition that the Legionnaire cannot be from the 20th Century (since Superboy nor Supergirl are frequent commuters on the time travel express!)

Any other Titan/Legion crossovers come to mind? smile

Well XS, a Legionnaire, met her cousin, Impulse way back when and he became a Titan.

There was the Brave & the Bold issue with Batman and Karate Kid. I never read it, but I suppose Robin might have been in it as well.

Actually, Robin met Karate Kid in KARATE KID #14.

Yes, I'm that big a KK fan that I picked up about 1/2 his series.

Also, in LSH #99 & #100, Team 20 paired-up with Superboy, Robin, and Impulse for the COMPUTO arc.

They also crossed over with Bart in LSH #88 & Impulse #21.

To get really anal, this same team of Legionnaires worked with the Jurgens Titans in the Final Night and Genesis crossovers. Spark and Saturn Girl specifically were with Prysm, Atom, and other heroes as they tried to penetrate the Godwave or something.

Ooh. More anal notes.

Green Lantern came to the 30th century and cross-over with the Legion in Green Lantern #s 98 & 99. They had also previously worked together in LSH #100 and were at Hal Jordan's funeral in GL #85-or-something.

Flash was another Titan they likely teamed-up with in Final Night or Genesis. He was in the previously mentioned away team with Spark, SG, Prysm, etc. He's also encountered XS multiple times in the Chain Lightning story-arc and another Flash event in the past decade.

EDIT: I just re-read the question and realized Omni was asking for the FIRST Titan/Legion cross-over, which none of my answers come close to. Ignore this post and the one above. tongue

That's the one I had in mind Andy. Take it away!
(And I have the whole KK series, so let's talk about retentive... smile )

It's Legion, baby!! How can you not love it?!? (yes, I have issues, but they are all "back" issues...) lol Thank you, thank you, I'll be here all week! Try the veal!

And I have vowed to buy anything that DC prints with the happy "L" logo on it, unless it is swiped, lifted, photocopied, and/or scripted by Liefeld. Otherwise, I'll follow them to the gates of Hell! (Mind you, once we get there, I'm making a U-turn and running like spit the other way!!) smile Ah, mindless consumerism. Legion is the only book I'll buy even when it's "not good". Other books I'll drop like the edges are giving me papercuts. Bad art, bad story or a combination of both, goodbye. But LLL 'til the day I die!

And you DO realise that's not healthy, right Omni smile

My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm thinking specifically from Adventures-through-Levitz

And that's the difference between you and I, Craig. Even if Liefeld had something to do with the book, I'd still buy it. Milk ads? Got one. Obscure, foreign trading cards? Got 'em. Hell even fan produced ID cards. Sitting in the box in my closet.

You may be retentive but its me who adds the anal.

Uh, on second thought, strike that last bit. This is a family board afterall. laugh

Let's see:

Garth
Imra
Ayla
Nura (Mysa was disguised as the Hag)
Tenzil (Renkil, if he counts)
Val (father was the Black Dragon)
Projectra (members of her family who tried to steal the throne)

Hmm... that's all I can think of.
