I'm pretty certain the "knocking the board" over scene is in the late Adventure era or early Superboy era, but I can't think of the precise circumstance.

OK, I guess I've stalled the game long enough. Brainiac 5 is of course correct. There was a scene from SLSH 217 where Superboy and TWolf are playing. Future clearly remembers the other scene I was thinking of, although it was Sun Boy and Cham who were talking about playing chess. Since Future got 2 of them, I'm giving the next question to him.

Though Lori dialed up plenty of heroes when she possessed the H-Dial (postboot), these personnas weren't always seen by other Legionnaires. Which Legionnaire saw Lori's "Dialed" heroes the most, and which 3 did she see?

For bonus points, seven other Legionnaires and one supporting character saw 2 of her hero personnas. Can you name these other 8?

Hm, this is tough! Without cheating, I can remember-

I think the answer is Monstress. She saw her as Galaxy Girl, Chiller and Plasma.

As for the others-

XS saw her as Galaxy Girl and Ink.
Element Lad saw her as Helios and Chiller.
Chuck saw her as Helios and the red-haired woman in Legionnaires 51.
Kinetix saw her as Galaxy Girl and Chiller.
Saturn Girl saw her as Blip and Plasma.
Kid Quantum II and Ferro both saw her as Blip and Galaxy Girl.
And I just realized that I am way too anal.

Actually, Gates wasn't rejected, he refused to go with Leviathan and co. Dreamer applied and was told "no."

Yes, but in one of the panels in that issue there was a picture of Gates with a big red REJECTED on it. We're looking at it from the back so it's not obvious, but it's there. So while Gates refused to go, he was still officially listed as rejected.
