Time it is!

I should've known you would get it Eryk, since you were "up" on your Bates issues (per your recent thread on "Garth/Mekt Twinness").

Tharok said it in Superboy and the LSH #198, "The Fatal Five who Twisted Time!"

This should be easy:

Which member of the original Legion of Super-Rejects, from Superboy #212, has never appeared since that story?

Neither Chameleon Kid nor Phantom Lad re-appeared (at least not pre-boot. There was a reboot Phantom Lad).

Chameleon Kid was the one I was thinking, counting the rebooted Phantom Lad as a "re-appearance".

You're up, cmk.

I always thought Phantom Lad was the space pirate captain that used his power to phase his ship when escaping from the authorities, during the Baxter run (issue #12). IIRC, he had a similar appearance. Or maybe Steve Lightle used Phantom Lad as a basis for the character. Or I'm way overanalyzing... smile (wouldn't be the first time).

That would have been cool, Omni, but, as far as I know, there's no evidence to support it, other than a superficial similarity in their appearances. According to WWitLSH, Phantom Lad became the boy toy for some rich dame after his failed attempt to join the LSH.

But... damn it! I like that space pirate Phantom Lad idea so much that, as far as I'm concerned, it's continuity!

Name the only two Legionnaires of whom versions were seen in the "Mordruverse" story.

Andrew Nolan/Ferro Lad (though he's an adult in the story) and Mysa/White Witch.

30th Century Gossip!

Which Legionnaire was seen flirting shamelessly with a certain Ambassabor Jeryl?

(no, it's not the obvious answer shake )

That didn't take long!

Yep, in the backup story in Superboy & the LSH 249.

Back to Legion-Reference-File Lad.

And the question is...

Name one source of prophecy (in Legion lore) other than the planet Naltor.

I believe that the Oracles of Orando were consulted once.

IIRC, the Oracles (or Orakills, I believe they're spelled) of Orando can't tell the future. They communicate with the dead, but I do not recall them ever revealing anything that is yet to occur.

Of course, if you can cite me an instance of them doing so, I'll give you the next question.

I don't have my comics in front of me. I thought they were consulted during the Great Darkness saga. It could be as you said to consult with the dead rather than prophecy.

Obviously that is not the answer you wanted and I am willing to say that I was wrong.

I don't recall that. I remember three times when Projectra used her power as an Orakill - the Ghost of Ferro Lad story, the Magic Wars and the Mordru-raises-the-dead story. In all of those, the spirits told her what she needed to do to defeat the menace at hand (except in the Ghost of Ferro Lad story, where it was the evil Controller making her think she had to disband the Legion), but not foretelling any future events.
