Good question, CMK. I'm going to say Computo.

No to both...I'll throw a hint...the villain I'm thinking of has NEVER appeared since his/her/its first appearance, which was, incidentally, earlier than either Mordru's or Computo's.

Not being too familiar with very early Legion history I was about to guess Glorith but your last post has thrown me CMK. Do you mean that this villain only appeared once and then never again? Surely there are loads of villains that fit that criteria? Or am I misunderstanding?
Anyway, if not Glorith I'll take a crazy stab in the dark and say the name of the villain in the earliest issue of Adventure I have - Dynamo Boy.

"Gee, Brainy, what do you want to do tonight?" "The same thing we do every night, Bouncing Boy: try to take over the United Planets!!" They're B.B. and The Brain ...

Close, but I've got one whose first and only appearance was earlier still.

Oops. Looks like I need to refresh my screen more often. Glorith was already guessed.
Earlier than the Brain-Globes, eh? Gimme another minute...

My guess would be the Sun Boy impostor from "The Secret of the Seventh Super-Hero", Adventure Comics # 290 (Nov., 1961).

You're getting closer with the Sun Boy Impostor, but there's one earlier still. (the Chameleon Men were after the BRain-Globes)

No, Luthor appeared more than once in Legion stories.
Another hint: This villain was never given a name.

The only earlier appearance by a criminal I can think of would be the guy that Superboy helps Star Boy capture on Xanthu giving Lana Lang the opportunity to try to make Supes jealous (Adventure 282). Is that who you mean?

Excuse me? What's wrong with obscure Legion trivia? It's a genuine Legion question, with an answer that's findable in an actual Legion story. As opposed to, say, a recent question about a theoretical twin sibling for Quantum Queen...

In the infamous Adventure era Adult Legion story, who are the 5 members of the LSV depicted and what are their powers?

I suspected this wouldn't take long to answer when I saw you were logged in EDE! Excellent! You're up next.

On the same topic, then:
What other two characters were portrayed as members of the adult LSV?

That would be Chameleon Chief and Sun Emperor, as seen in the story "The League of Fantastic Supermen", Jimmy Olsen # 63 (Sep., 1962).
