I even remember the little colonist kids that make the discovery of sentinent life forms as their playing on what apears to be an oddly shaped rock. The issue in question was Legion of Super-Heroes #272. Blok's origin, and the history of Dryad, was told to three other Legion applicants (Lamphrey, Nightwind, and Crystal Kid). At the end of the story, Blok is welcomed into the Legion!

Hey Craig, is the new show, the OC, about Omni Craig? Can't wait to see it! Then we can play OC trivia! Oh, and I looked this up yesterday, and when Dr. Hosono is getting off the ship, there are already some humans outside the ship, so I wasn't sure if I was right. OK, I'll give some hints..
1) Matil only appeared once - and she died in that same issue.
2) Matil never appeared with the Legion - her story was told only in flashback.

Ok, no one is even guessing, so I guess it's time to move on. My answers were:

2 forms - 100 foot giant

3 constructs - Cosmic Boy double
- blood crystals
- globe thingies used to search for Legionnaires
I admit, the constructs are a bit iffy since the blood crystals were not specifically sent againt the Legion, but I was curious to see what people came up with. Looks that Kill, I guess you get the next question.
