A HORSE (of the talking variety, as in Mr. Ed?)
Naw, couldn't be. Could it?

Alright then...
How many applicants were testing along with Fortress Lad on the day he tried out for membership and who were they?

Wasn't it just Fortress Lad, Arm-Fall-Off Boy and Mnemonic Kid? I don't have the issue handy to check.

I went ahead and checked the issue Scott, and I think you got it. The three you mentioned are the only 3 applicants named during the story. There were 7 applicants in all.
Looks like Mnemonic Kid didn't affect your memory!

Varalent? You out there? Was Scott right? Let us know, or Scott can play on through.

I'll give Varalent until tomorrow to confirm or deny my answer and then I'll post a new question.

I'm going to go ahead with the next question to keep the game moving.
Three members of one of the most reviled races in Legion history were only known by a number. What were their 'names', what race were they and what made them stand out from others of their kind?

Reviled in Legion history, eh? Then it must be:
362, a female Dominator rebel leader 556, a Dominator scientist 097, a Dominator scientist
Only Dominators of the upper caste have names. Lesser castes have numbers.
These three helped Valor foil a second invasion of Earth in the 20th century. They rebelled against the Dominion upper caste and freed a large number of human test subjects. These mutated people went on to use their new powers to seed new worlds (appropriate to their powers, things like magnetism, cold projection, etc.). These worlds would act as a buffer between the Dominators' homeworld and Earth.
And these planets eventually would wind up being many of the future "United Planets" we all know and love.

Uh oh. Looks like my "best shot" is about to be hit out of the park on the first try. Scott! You don't know! You only think you know... (alright, totally bluffing here, trying to psyche you out).
