You're on Honshu.
You're west of Okayama but east of Yamaguchi.
According to Google Maps, unless I'm mis-reading them, those four - Okayama, Hiroshima, Shimane and Tottori - are the only prefectures that have territory within that range, yet you say you're in none of them.

The only error I can see in the summary is that I said you're east of Yamaguchi rather than "not west" of Yamaguchi. So I'm going to guess you're in Yamaguchi.
But I thought that was ruled out when you said it wasn't in Hiroshima prefecture. Unless I've done something wrong, it looks to me like Yamaguchi is in the prefecture of Hiroshima.
