2. Aw, cripes; freaking Wildfire again. Do we really have to keep bringing back the same people over and over again?

Hmm... with Matter-Eater Lad in the last solicit, and Wildfire in this one, it looks like Bedard is putting a concientious effort into bringing back the missing "essential" Legionnaires!

I like the feral-looking Brin more - at least he's distinguishable in a crowd from Ultra Boy, Colossal Boy, Invisible Kid and Cosmic Boy with those drooly fangs.

I am also glad to see Wildfire back. I hope his costume is more traditional, rather than the Iron Man look he had with DnA.

Violet and Shady looking good on this cover.

It looks like they're keeping the DnA look, probably to distinguish him from the version currently showing up in JLA/JSA/Action.

Vi and Brin on the cover together? Can't wait to see Arachne's reaction!

That cover is uglier than sin but Violet in a sexpot pose on drooling Brin's shoulder is pretty damn funny, if you ask me.

The "other" Karate Kid is Japanese again? Wow! When will the weirdness ever end?

Yeah, I don't like that either. Or this one:

Countdown is happening before the "Lightning Saga"?

Where is Blok & Quislet then?

Not crazy about the cover either. But the four people on the cover? Those are some of my faves!

I'd hazard a guess that Countdown catches up after the crossover.

That means the Supergirl title is still not in the right timeline then. If DC can't handle getting their titles into a consistent time frame, how can they decently handle the return of the Multiverse?

Vi, Brin and Shady. My top three characters. I can't wait! Not a complete surprise, though, since Bedard mentioned in an interview that he'd be using those three.

That said, the drooling was not necessary.

JLA Wedding Special #1 - Supes gets invited to the bachelorette party?!?

Hmmm after another look. It appears he was the beef that jumped out of the cake.

With, the declining circulation in the Newspaper industry, he must be moonlighting and taking out classified ads in the Adult Entertainer section of the classifieds.

Having Lois there, too, kind of kills the mood somewhat, doesn't it?

Maybe Lois likes to swing (and I don't mean the dance)?

I'd buy THAT.

Wonder Woman's wedgie looks painful.

WILDFIRE?!? Looks like I just got interested in this series again... (and yeah, it looks like they're going with something more similar to Coipel's design than Cockrum's. I just hope he doesn't have a similar origin as the lastboot's...)

Bah. The lunar-monthly Cult of Validus meetings on Winath are way more fun than any JLA wedding, plus you don't have to bring a gift.

That's not really Wildfire. It's New Earth Squire Burroughs.

AR Legion collectors are probably going to want to check out McGuinness' action figures for Supergirl and the Composite Superman in Superman/Batman Wave 5, also from this month's solicits:

Hope this isn't a Brin-gone-vampire story. Did he just take a bite out of Shady's midriff - or did she just sock him in the jaw after he clawed her?

If the cover connects to the contents, it will be good to see these characters in action. We haven't seen that much of Brin, nothing of Wildfire - and I like the idea that the two tough-talking chicks might be friends (Vi accompanied her to Talok) and team up together.
