Ok, so I got a giftcard for Amazon.com for Christmas (yay). Now, I was thinking of buying some comic related stuff (i.e. archives) but I'm not sure which ones to buy.

So, here are a few questions that if anyone could answer would be greatly appreciated

1) which Archives cover which issues/runs? I didn't see issue numbers on the dc website for the Legion Archives but I have NO idea where certain stories are creative teams fit into the Archive breakdown.

2) Which one do YOU recommend I get?

This site DC Archive homepage has the issue numbers.

As for recommendations, I like getting the Golden Age archives. The Shazam and Plastic Man Archives are good.

I recommend Volumes 6 and 7 of the LSH Archives. There's some of the best Adventure era LSH stuff there, including the first two Fatal Five stories (one in each volume.) The combined issues collected are Adventure # 350-367, and they're mostly written by Jim Shooter and mostly drawn by Curt Swan.

Number 8 is great for Shooter fans too. Mordru, Chemical King and Timber Wolf become members, the villians, and the Tornado Twins.

#10 is great if you are a Cockrum fan. It conveniently contains his entire original run.

Kamandi, volume one is one of my fave non Legion archives.
