I play from memory too. Unfortunately I *do* know the names of the episodes. I feel kinda geeky now... wink

Right, this is sort of half a quote but if I give the first half it might be too easy. If it proves to to be too difficult I'll give the first part of it:

"It must be Tuesday"

"Dawn's in trouble - must be Tuesday" from Once More with Feeling.

And yes, I took that from memory smile

Heh heh, yep, that's the one. Wasn't sure how hard that one would be since it's a bit unspecific but it's one of the best injokes in OMWF.

"They're as bad as my father."
"Fathers. Don't they suck?"
"Say one thing, then... 'Be good. Fear God. Do as you're told.' And the whole while I know good and well, he's had his share of sinning."
"Sounds kinda like my father."
"Is he a self-righteous bastard?"
"You'd be amazed."

That'd be Connor talking with an amnesiac Angel in that episode where everyone gets regressed into their teenage personas when a Lorne spell goes kerflunky.

Well, I don't know the episode, but I'm pretty sure this is Spike to Buffy. He follows it up with something like, "Well, that phrase is ruined forever, isn't it?"

Nope...this quote is from a minor supporting character. He appeared in a few episodes, but was not long term.

I know this one, I know this one...

It's from Anne, I know that. And solely on the basis of "he doesn't get one for ages, then two come along in a page," I'll say Larry.

Angel to Wes in 'Shells' after he shoots Knox. Actually I got that from reading the Sequential Tart review just now since I've not been watching the current series of Angel on Sky (it's the same time as Most Haunted and unfortunately loses out to it).

Having said that though I'm almost certain I can hear Buffy saying it to someone in my head as well but I can't think who...

Yup (sorry about the non-checking of this topic)

Ok, I tink Bevis has lost his turn so to keep this thread going, here's another quote:

I am sure this is Xander from an episode concerning the mayor's Ascension. I have no idea which episode, though.

I'll give it to you lance -- it is Xander, but he's definitely not talking about the Ascension. he said it at the beginning of the first season.
