Hmm. That sounds awfully like Giles, but I can't place where it's from at the moment. I'll have to think on this.

Hmm. Well, I'll say it's Giiles too - but I think it's from the episode in season 4 where Willow makes all her slips-of-the-tongue come true and Spike ends up proposing to Buffy and Giles goes blind.
But I might be wrong...

The episode was Doomed, in Season 4 and it was spoken by Giles in response to Buffy saying, "I told you. I said end of the world and you're like 'pooh, pooh, Southern California, pooh, pooh.'"
I don't know if its the same episode CK is thinking of. This is the one where Spike tried to kill himself and Xander wanted to help.

Yep, that's it, L. Lad. Your turn. BTW, The episode CK is reffering to is Something else else Blue. Hey, if anybody needs help with the quotes or the episode names, here's a handy site: http://www3.sympatico.ca/jenoff/btvsrev.htm Its got some memorable quotes from each episode (starting with Season 4), as well as some great reviews/commentary.

Well, it sounds like Spike (the ballerina line especially since he always digs at Angel's masculinity) so I'll guess that episode where Angel guested while Buffy was dating Riley and he stayed in the shadows the whole time(?)

It is indeed Spike but the quote isn't from a Buffy episode. Its from the third ep of the first season of Angel, when Spike came looking for the gem of Amara. I think that's what he was doing.
Anyway, close enough for me. Your quote Drake.

Cool -- I was actually going to guess that episode, but I wasn't sure if "Angel" was part of this game or not.
Anyhoo, next quote: "You know Buffy? Sweet girl -- not that bright."

Ack, now that one is terribly familiar but I can't place it. It sort of sounds like Spike but it also sort of sounds like Faith as well. I'll have to think about it and see if I can place it or not.

As a hint I will say that despite wording of the quote, it wasn't a malicious comment at the time (so no, it's not Spike or Faith).

Willow, said to Kennedy after Buffy's "Are you ready to be strong?" speech, in Chosen. And I swear, it's not in the book.

It's Buffy to Kendra. I'm not entirely sure which episode though. 'What's My Line? Part 2' maybe. Trying to think which other episodes Kendra was in.

Bugger, I was so sure too. Hmm, in that case the obvious choices would be Buffy and Faith or either Buffy or Faith talking to the proto-slayers in season seven. It's a terribly familiar quote though and even though I've only just watched season seven I don't really remember that many quotes from it so I'm more inclined to think it's Buffy talking to Faith. Dammit, this is going to bug me now since 'm not certain it *isn't* Faith talking to the potentials. Ack, gonna have to see if I dig up the right answer now...

Right, I think I've got it unless there's another similr quote to he one I think it is. It's Buffy talking to Faith in Faith, Hope and Trick I think when they're being chased by Kakistos' minions and Faith is going all panicky.

Nope, not it either (although I do kind of remember a similar quote in that episode). Right season, though. Hint: No slayers were present in the uttering of this quote.

(odd, I posted this before, but it didn't show up) Anya? I can almost see her saying it, but I don't remember when or to whom.

Eh, in that case I'm completely stumped. Buffy certainly says something very similar to Faith in that episode. The only other episode that i can think of that it might be from is Helpless, where Buffy loses her slayer powers, but it doesn't really sound like something from it.

Okay, then. The quote is from Willow, after her and the Scooby Gang attempted some slayerless slaying, in "Anne".
