I would like to be from Binderaan. Of course this would be in the 90th centry where we would watch history channel docos about your primitive 31st centry ways.

Oh, from rather than live on... and I had thought my post was so on-topic and helpful too...
In that case, Colu, of course! But I'll probably get lazy and go to some low-class Earth party school like Metropolis U or something.

{ Someplace like Starhaven sounds nice. It depends whether or not you have to fly to get around. }
Ferroboy, if you're interested, you can get full details from the Emigration and Tourism Desk at the Consulate. My assistant, Flies Into Sunsets, is trained well in both legalities and practical matters, and she will be glad to assist you.
Visitors to Starhaven can leave the tourist districts only on group tours, unless they possess some form of pollution-free self-propulsion and declare a flight plan. The only technological fliers otherwise allowed are for diplomats and their staff. We don't build roads, as avoiding that was part of the point of settling our planet.
If you choose to emigrate, you'll likely want to take advantage upon arrival of GenMod's three-day medical-spa special. It will give you a beautiful set of planet-capable wings, for travel at up to Mach 2. Otherwise it'll be difficult for you to get around, outside of a few smaller towns. (Wings for space-travel use are still reserved for the native-born at this time.)
Call Stormmaster at our Medical Desk for more details and a discount voucher. Our gengineers have centuries of experience!

I always thought that Element Lad deportation bit should've had some in-story follow-up. It would've made sense to use it in the 5YL stories.
On the whole, though, that idea doesn't really add much to the character or the team, so I'm glad it wasn't made a huge deal.
As for which planet I'd like to originate *from*... hmmm. Reboot Trom (and its Aristotlean ideal vibe)? Nature paradise of Starhaven? Science paradise Colu? Telepathic gestalt on Titan? Permanent night on Kathoon? I've always been intrigued by Lallor. It's hard to choose...
...Far easier to pick which planets I *wouldn't* want to hail from. Definitely *not* hard scrabble Braal, roughneck Rimbor or lethal Lylthl. Caarg's society has been shown to be slightly (or more) sick in every version. Wouldn't want to be a Caargite. I'm not fond of deserts, so Talok VIII'd be out.
Imsk would be fascinating to visit, but you know the rest.
What about all those worlds we've never really seen explored? Aarok, Aleph, etc. Now, we can imagine those worlds any way we want... since their reality is unlikely to ever recieve much exposure again.
Hard to beat a blank slate.
Here's hoping the new LSH has a pretty quick tour of the worlds... since getting to know the *character* of those worlds is a big part of appreciating the Legion. IMO.

Do they have Gil'Dishpans there? If I can't have naked ladies, I want Gil'Dishpans instead!
Um...for totally different reasons of course!

Hmm...so if I took a trip to Thanagar and bought some wings with nth metal and _then_ moved to Starhaven, I'd be all set. Or I could just search the desert in Egypt until I found my own set.

Cobie, if you do go to Hykraius, don't forget your transuit! I wouldn't want you to suffocate in that methane atmosphere.
