You're right about that Eryk. I've heard the album over at a friend's house but have never had a copy of my own. It never comes up for sale on eBay nor does Amazon ever seem to have a copy. Hammill rereleased it recently (2001?) with different instrumentation. One of these days I'll find a copy.

Well, their first drummer was a guy named John Rutsey, so I'll say him.

But this could well be one of them trick questions.

No trick. Rutsey was the original drummer on the first album, 'Rush'.

If I recall correctly Chris Stewart played on some of the band's original singles but he never was on the official first album. Some of the singles he played on originally were re-recorded with his replacement, John Silver.

Stewart was the drummer on their first two singles before leaving to manage a farm.
