Ding!
That's the artist, and since you got them, I'll give it to you.
The record was "River Deep, Mountain High" which was a big hit in England, but a stiff in the States. Spector thought it was his best record, so he pitched a fit and announced his retirement. He later came back.
You're up.

Good to hear. How was the attendance? I keep hearing this hasn't been a good season for concerts.
Funny thing: I was in a Best Buy a couple of days ago, and I was looking at a Racer-X CD and saw the lineup, and it hit me that they had to be the answer to your previous question. But by the time I got back, you had given up the answer. So I'm glad I got another shot.
I'll be back in a bit with a question.

OK, this one's a complete bear.
Here's a quote:
"You can hear the violence, and the dynamics in the music. We'd go from town to town, from country to country, and it was like a job. We set up, we played, they booed and threw things at us."
Who said this, and what was the speaker referring to?

robbie robertson i believe he was referring to touring with bob dylan, and i believe bob had went electric. Not positive though. its hard to tell attendance at Ozzfest, or at least i didnt see a count. Because its all day and people drop in at different times and watch only certain bands i could only judge by Judas Priest and Sabbath. The place looked pretty well sold out, the tweeter holds 19900 and i will be conservative and say 17000, but it looked pretty well sold out during those 2 sets so there ya go.

Wow.
The ones I always think are gimmes end up taking days to resolve and the ones I think are hard get answered just like that.
You are correct on both counts. He is referring to being part of Dylan's support band during the first run of electric gigs in '66.
I tip my hat to you, sir. Or I would if I were wearing one.
Your turn.

CORRECT! Glad to have a new person aboard, and female too!(i'm assuming). Yes Mutt Langeis in fact the person that utters those 4 famous words. As with everything PYROMANIA, Mutt was part of everything, songwriting, producing, singing, background singing. Thats why he's known as the 6th member of Def Leppard Your question, Flannel Lass

Yay! Okay, this one is really easy, but it's hard to think of something with Taichara ranting at me about Jason Todd in Messenger, so this one is music and comics related!
What was the song, band, and album that eulogized Superman almost exactly two years prior to his death?

Nope! Btw, you're thinking of the song "Jimmy Olsen Blues", from the album Pocket Full of Kryptonite, there, Numf El... It's a great song, but it has nothing to do with Superman being dead.
Okay, I think it's time for a little hinting. Firstly, it helps if you've seen the video. Second, one line from this song was repeated in a song about Aquaman by another musical act.
(Edited to add hints)

[interlude] Hey, here's a question that I'm hoping someone here can help me answer -- sorry for breaking into the game! But I've been wondering this for awhile: do the lyrics to "American Pie" actually mean or symbolize anything? I've read various differing explanations for what the song is supposed to mean, as well as the explanation that the lyrics don't mean a thing. Does anyone know for sure? Thanks! [/interlude]
