My bad. Didn't think I'd be away so long.

Welcome aboard, snowsparkle. Nice to see someone new willing to jump in.

OK: What song did Paul and Linda McCartney consider "their song"?

Bingo! We have a winner. Good job.

The song was premiered by a DJ at the club where the two met.

And now, it's your turn to ask a trivia quesion.

Sorry I took so long! A coworker got sick, and I haven't been near a computer in over a day. Alright.

From what band, album, and song did the name of the band "Temple of the Dog" come?

i will add that they also released the most live albums in the shortest time
another hint
they continue to release official bootlegs of their concerts, you can get them right after the show. Some of those concets became official live albums, such as the concert i saw this summer.

OK, quick and easy since I don't know when I'll be back here next:

What band name did Blackmore and Co. use before they became Deep Purple?

I'm certain that my answer is correct since I checked it with Pete Frame's Rock Family Trees, so I'll post the next question.

What band consisted of Dennis, Harry, Alec and John?

I don't have a guess yet. I just wanted to say that those Family Trees are a brilliant series of books.

I couldn't agree more. They are full of minutiae and details on lineup changes that make squinting to read the small type worthwhile.
