LL got more of the answer correct the I did, Labby. In your original question, you didn't specify that we weren't counting bands that did not record albums, so Voices of Rock was as valid an answer as Moxy (and I have no idea if Moxy recorded or not).
So, I defer to LL.

Well since I feel like I've had the wind knocked out of me with KP leaving and I have to disappear soon, probably by Wednesday, for a couple of weeks, here's an easy one. Don't wait for confirmation from me to carry on.
What producer of such Rock classics as "Heartbreak City" by the Cars and Def Leppard's "High 'N' Dry" is now a Country producer/song writer and is married to one of Country's biggest stars?

both mine and LL question have the same answer. I thought about that (sixth member for def leppard) but thought saying he was country now and married to one of their big stars would be a better twist.

very true, and i appreciate the canadian content if ya know what i mean. by the way, isnt the person just a producer for "that" country act and not any others? He still does all kinds of stuff on the billboard charts, or at least up to a year and half ago.

But I'm not sure what his latest Billboard stuff would be. The last on the regular rock/pop charts I can think of was back in 1991/1992.

Clearly you're both talking about Jeff "Mutt" Lange.
I'll be back to post a question later.

Oh, crap! It's Robert "Mutt" Lange, isn't it? Sorry. Next question: Turn and Change the Strange FacesSometimes bands start out with frontmen (or women) other than the ones they become famous with. Each of the following was the lead singer of some band that went on to become famous with someone else hitting those high notes (or low notes, as it were). Name the bands and each singer's eventual replacement. A. Stephen Duffy B. Chad Allan C. Dave Evans (no, not The Edge) D. Paul Di'anno E. Terry Luttrell

Very good, Labby, but that's only part of the question. Who replaced Di'anno?

Stephen Duffy was the first singer in Duran Duran. Simon LeBon took over later.
Chad Allen was the singer/co-founder of the Guess Who. Burton Cummings was his replacement.
Di'Anno was replaced in Iron Maiden by Bruce Dickinson.
Those are from memory. Hopefully they're correct. I'm still thinking about the others.

I'm just gonna guess on #5 since the name sounds so familiar. I'll say REO Speedwagon and Kevin Cronin.

Right on all counts, OM, and by virtue of getting the majority of the answers, that makes you the winner.
Dave Evans was the original lead singer of AC/DC, pre-Bon Scott.

Oh, yeah. I remember the VH-1 special talked about Evans, not in the most flattering of terms. I would not have gotten that one.
Back with a question in a bit.

OK, this may be a bit obscure, but aren't they all...
Name the band that backed Roy Orbison on his first real hit, "Ooby Dooby".
