OK, so I guess the next one is mine, huh?
Right, then:
Name the band who recorded the song I cribbed my online handle from, and the album it first appeared on.
(My money's on Estimate Lad getting this, btw)

It is indeed Wire. Good job!
Now all I need is the title of the LP that "Outdoor Miner" comes from.

Chairs Missing! Not hear that for a long long time.
Okay who didn't appear at Woodstock (original) but was supposed to be on the bill, and who played Woodstock who wasn't on the bill?

Not the ones I was thinking off. I don't think the Stones were ever scheduled to play Woodstock (I think that was why they "organised" Altamont).
I'll give you the Who though. It wasn't who I was thinking off. Bonus though if you can guess who I had in mind (and yes the act does appear in the film).
Here's a big clue for the act who didn't appear but was scheduled to do so - they wrote a song about the festival.

You're right...it was Joni. The story goes that she had the same manager as The Band who were also booked at Woodstock. The manger had booked them to appear somewhere else the day after their appearances at the Festival but new that there would be very little chance of anyone getting out through the mud, crowd etc to keep the later date. He sent The Band in and Joni on to the other gig.
The other act who wasn't scheduled to play but did was John Sebastian, who went along to hang up 'cause the Lovin' Spoonful had just broken up. He was asked to play a small acoustic set to keep the crowd happy while the tech crew were setting another act.
So, I guess its over to you Labradorian...

Mr. greed, why you got to own everything that you see? Mr. greed, why you put a chain on everybody livin' free? You're hungerin' for his house, you're hungerin' for his wife, And your appetite will never be denied. You're a devil of consumption; i hope you choke, mr. greed.
How do you get away with robbin'? did your mother teach you how? I hear you got away with murder, did you do your mama proud?
Mr. greed, why you got to take more than you can ever use? Bring 'em to their knees; isn't it enough just to win while they lose? You bring no honor to the game, you feast upon the blood and pain, But the bones you hoard can only bring you shame. There's corruption in your path, be that your epitaph, mr. greed.

You gotta wonder if he had Saul Zantz (sp?) in mind when he wrote that one.

Guess I misread the question.
Mr. Greed is Saul Zaentz, Fogerty's and CCR's ex-manager who had convinced them, when they were starting out, to invest all their money in a tax-shelter bank or something. Of course all the money disappeared. After CCR broke up and Fogerty took some time off, he came back to record Centerfield which had a couple of songs blasting Zaentz (Mr. Greed and Vanz Kant Danz). Zaentz sued saying the Fogerty was plagerizing Fogerty on the song Old Man Down the Road. If I remember correctly the case was laughed out of court because how can someone plagerize themselves?

I thought the lyrics would be the answer. Anyway, I'm more than happy to let you have the next question if you want. Its getting harder for me to try and fool Labradorian.
