Not Winona Ryder or Brad Pitt. We're talking classic movie star here.

Nope and nope. I'll give a more direct hint a little later if no-one has got it.

Nope, still to recent. We are looking for a man though.
By the way, I am mortified that no-one is a Blue Monday fan here. The names of the Hopeless Savages lasted about a minute before the correct answer was posted so shame on you all. Blue Monday is geenyus. If you are a Blue Monday fan though then shame on you for not getting it straight away since Bleu's only other obsession (apart from her teacher) is Adam Ant.
Sorry, that rant isn't meant to be taken seriously. But really do go and read Blue Monday if you haven't before because it's great.

Clue time I think. He's a comedian. In fact one of the biggest comedy stars of Hollywood (at least, critically speaking).

wwc has it right, Buster Keaton it is. There's a fantastic story where Bleu takes the place of Keaton in a film in the first trade. Very funny stuff.

Okay, this is one of those ones you either know or you don't.
Back when DC had the Millenium crossover:
Who was Blue Beetles Manhunter sleeper.
As far as I know the character was never seen again so like I said...

Well done Chaim!
To paraphrase the song:
"You've either got it or you haven't - and boy you got it!"
It's over to you.
Incedentally, DID Overthrow ever appear anywhere else or was he a one off?
That wasn't a new question, more a general "wondering".

I believe he was seen in Countdown to Infinite Crisis or in OMAC Project. He died in that appearance. I'm not sure if he appeared anywhere between those two stories.
Which well-known DC Character did John Constantine once urinate on?

Oh no, wait! If it was "well known" then wasn't it Swamp Thing?

That's the one I was thinking of...the funniest Phantom Stranger line ever, effective because of the totally serious delivery. ("I thought we could be friends, but now I see I must forever remain...a Stranger.")
Go for it, walwithcrowds.

I always thought that was really sad! I felt sorry for him.
Okay, who said:
"Hey, Superman, are you going to hang around up there all day or what? We're freezing our t**s off down here"
And what comic was it from?

It's hard to feel sorry for him when he keeps that straight expression on his face. He doesn't show any emotion, he doesn't even express disgust. He just says his trademarked "stranger" line in the same way he always delivers it. That's what makes it funny rather than sad.
