SLK has it. Sally never was on her brother's or anyone else's team.

Rerun was on Charlie Brown's team in the very first storyline in which he appeared, though he was thrown off after he was caught in a gambling scandal.

Schroeder, of course, was catcher on CB's team.

Others on that team include Lucy, Linus, Snoopy, Pig-Pen, Patty, Violet, Shermy, Frieda, 5, and, in later years, Eudora.

Peppermint Patty and Franklin each have their own teams at one point, though Franklin is later shown playing on Peppermint Patty's team, along with Marcie, Roy, Thibault and Jose Peterson.

Other than the Browns and the Van Pelts, which characters named above have known surnames? Note: Marcie and Franklin do not count: their surnames were given in a TV special, not in the comic strip.

Well, Peppermint Patty has a kid named Jose Peterson on her team. But he's hardly a main character.

Schroeder's last name is Klein. Peppermint Patty's is Reichardt, and Franklin's (in the TV special) is Johnson.

One of the characters you named never had their surname revealed in the comic strip and another you did not name did.

BTW, in You're in the Super Bowl, Charlie Brown, Franklin's name was Armstrong and Marcie's was Johnson.

There was another character called Patty in the cartoons and also there was Violet - neither of whom have not been seen in the comic strip for ages - is that who you mean, Rockhopper?

Patty was the little girl in a green gingham frock and a bow in her hair...Violet was dark haired and wore her hair in a bun...

I had forgotten all about this. We'd narrowed it to Patty and Violet. The character in question's surname was only used once. Here's a hint: her given name and surname together could possibly describe a person's eyes.
