It was...and wasn't. Roy Thomas retconned a connection between the two in the Young All-Stars series.
Nonetheless, I'm not trying to argue you into submission. Clearly, there's someone else who served in that capacity first.

Maybe whoever answers it could put BIG spoiler space around their answer or use inviso-text or something? Or maybe you could ask a different question until I've caught up on my Bone reading BPM? I'd hate to not be able to come back to this thread.
